Athletic resume goes beyond football, as a seventh-grader last spring, Cooksey had a strong showing on the track finishing 3rd in 200m and was part of the 1st place 4x200m team. Ford ran hard offensively and came down hill even harder defensively as a Middle Linebacker. He was a big reason for the Tigers 7-0 regular season record, before they fell in the Duck River Valley Conference (DRVC) Championship Game.
