2027 Rankings Update- New Dominant DL Added to Our List

Our new 2027 Rankings Update is live! To roll out our new class, we want to cover some of our newest additions across the state!   Today, we are going to look at our newest DL! These guys put together impressive seasons last fall- be sure to watch their tape below!    [player_tooltip player_id='1537323' first='Donivan' last='Moore'] has quickly become one of our top prospects in the state, he's been outstanding for Hueytown's defense and is only going to keep getting better. Moore is explosive in every sense of the word- he has a terrific burst off the line of scrimmage, plays with a ton of speed and power, and is a constant playmaker in the backfield. Moore overwhelms OL with his combination of size, power, and speed- he has a ton of moves he uses to fly by OL into the backfield, coming up with huge stops against the run and generating pressure/sacks on the QB. Moore is outstanding in pursuit, despite his size, he moves incredibly well- consistently hunting down the ball carriers from the opposite side of the field. Moore has dominated everyone he's faced against, leading him to a lot of collegiate attention. Moore has picked up offers from Kentucky, Ole Miss, Georiga, and plenty of other top-tier programs. Be sure to watch his tape below- he's a dominant player that'll become a national name!      [player_tooltip player_id='1610207' first='Elijah' last='Brown'] has become a key piece of Prattville's defense over the last two years, he's been dominant and made tons of massive plays against talented teams all across the 7A. Brown is a dominant force on the interior, making it impossible for teams to run the ball on Prattville. Against the run, Brown completely controls the line of scrimmage with his size and strength, frequently collapsing rushing lanes and coming up with huge run stops at or behind the line of scrimmage. Brown is outstanding at shedding off blocks and making tackles, it doesn't matter who's lined across from him, he's going to find a way to embarrass them and come up with big stops. As a pass rusher, Brown is just as productive- he does a great job generating interior pressure and frequently brings down or forces opposing QBs into bad decisions. Brown has been incredibly productive for Prattville's front and has recently picked up offers from Ole Miss, Arkansas, Jacksonville State, and plenty of others. Be sure to watch his tape below, he's one of our top DL prospects in the state for a reason!      Jeremiah Steven Beverly has been incredibly productive on Hillcrest's defensive front, making huge plays against some talented offenses all across the state. With his size and speed, Beverly is extremely hard to stop coming off the edge- as soon as the ball is snapped, he completely overwhelms OL and flies to the ball to make plays. Beverly is exceptional at setting the edge and stopping the run- he does a great job fighting off blocks and sealing off the edge, coming up with huge stops behind the line of scrimmage, and not allowing for any big gains on the ground. Beverly is just as productive as a pass rusher- he has a wide variety of moves he uses to beat OL into the backfield and generate pressure/force bad decisions. Beverly was able to rack up sacks and force QBs into bad throws all of last fall, making him a force to be accounted for every down. Beverly was impressive all last fall, and since then, has seen his recruitment open up a ton. In the last few weeks, he picked up his first offer from Troy, and it won't be his last. Check out his film below and you'll see what I mean, he has tons of potential!      [player_tooltip player_id='1610187' first='Marquis' last='Evans'] has been a huge part of Minor's defense the last two years, and is coming off a dominant sophomore season filled with him making huge plays. Evans is a dominant DE and run-defender capable of making huge stops every down. Evans is terrific at using his size, strength, and quickness to beat OL and take down the ball carrier- he finds ways into the backfield nearly every snap, coming away with some huge plays for his defense. Evans is terrific in pursuit- he doesn't quit on plays and will work across the entire length of the field if it means he can come up with a stop for his defense. It's impressive watching Evans' tackling- he does a great job wrapping up, but can also deal out some devastating hits with how strong he is. Evans was productive all year long- ending his sophomore season with 45 total tackles (21 solo, 6 for loss), 2 sacks, and one forced/recovered fumble. With production like that, Evans has programs reaching out- listing offers from WKU, Alabama State, Vandy, and plenty more. Be sure to watch his tape below- he's a talented player who's only going to keep getting better!      [player_tooltip player_id='1610201' first='Marcus' last='Muse'] has been excellent on Central Tuscaloosa's DL, especially last fall- he made a ton of huge plays against some talented offensive lines all season long. At 6'3 275, Muse is a hard guy to stop- he is a massive obstacle for offenses to overcome and makes his presence felt by opposing OL every down. Muse is excellent at fighting off blocks to come up with huge stops- he does a great job using his hands, power, and quickness to beat OL and take down the ball carrier at or behind the line of scrimmage. Despite his size, Muse is terrific in pursuit- it's extremely impressive watching him work across the field to make tackles, he's got some impressive speed and plays with phenomenal effort every snap. Muse dominated all last season, ending his sophomore year with 48 total tackles (19 solo, one for loss) and one forced fumble. Muse just picked up his first offer from Troy a few weeks back- be sure to check out his tape below, he's sure to have more offers on the way soon.
