Athletic big man that can play sideline to sideline. High football IQ with great hands and speed. The staff raved about his attitude and coachability during the event. Tennessee Valley Prep recently extended an offer and more should be on the way. He had over 100 yds receiving and made two spectacular grabs in traffic for TDs. Penny made a big contribution this season on the defensive side of the ball for the State Champs. Strong, big bodied guy with a lot of quickness. The opposing OL had their hands full trying to get in front of him and slow him down. Showed good speed chasing the QB sideline to sideline and was a decisive tackler when he got his hands on the ball carrier. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ryan has the quickness to play DE at the next level and would be a good candidate for Junior College to refine his skill set. Over the last 24 hrs he received an offer from Culver Stockton and several Prep Academies. A solid kid at 5'9 180 that has good vision at the LOS and start and stopping ability. In a game dominated by defense, he had the longest run of the day (22 yards). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He missed the 1st half of his senior year but produced the 2nd Half. He had an impressive 10 carries for 89 yards vs a stout Rome Wolves defense and eclipsed the 100 yard mark vs Kennesaw Mtn on just 12 carries.
