Aquinas Catholic transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1048090' first='Calib' last='Svoboda'] took little time to become a high-impact player for Bishop Neumann. Calib is a two-way stud in the trenches with the upside to play on the offensive or defensive line at the next level. As a defender, Calib displays a red-hot motor that keeps him fighting to make a play from snap to whistle. He can spring out of his stance and explode through his hands to make a powerful initial contact. Svoboda's deep wrestling background also allows him to find ways to gain leverage over his opponent to drive them off the ball. On the OL, Svoboda plays with a mean streak that sees him bringing the fight to the defense, always looking for defenders to pick up (and drive into the ground). Fiery prospect who plays with an edge!

An absolute space eater on the interior defensive line, Lincoln North Star's [player_tooltip player_id='1055723' first='Dominic' last='Colmenero'] is sure to draw some interest in these upcoming weeks before signing day. Dominic first caught my attention during a summer camp in which he dominated in 1v1s with his excellent use of leverage and incredibly powerful base. This translated over to in-game very well, as he's shown he can plug up two gaps while doing a good job tracking the ball. He has the strength to stack blockers with efficient use of hands to disengage at the line of scrimmage. Good push at the point of contact. Colmenero is definitely someone you can use to shore up your run defense.

One of the more overlooked QBs in the 2025 cycle, Lincoln Southeast's [player_tooltip player_id='319184' first='Tre' last='Bollen'] had a solid season after earning the QB1 role and leading the Knights to the playoffs. Bollen is an interesting passer with ideal size at 6'3" and 165 lbs and room to continue filling out his frame, along with good athleticism and solid size. One thing that stands out about Tre is how well he can evade the pass rush while keeping his eyes downfield, moving through his progressions. On several occasions, Tre showed that he could remain calm when the protection broke down and had to improvise to make plays. Bollen has the arm strength to put consistent zip on his passes with the timing and accuracy to put the ball in a good spot for his receiver. Tre had some very impressive passes where he was able to layer the ball right over the defender before dropping right in the receiver's hands. He didn't run a ton, but the athleticism and nose for play-making is there.

DC West's [player_tooltip player_id='1315028' first='Brody' last='Walsh'] is a player I'm surprised to see still available on the board after a solid senior year and possessing a projectable frame at 6'4" and 250 lbs. Walsh is an athletic, taller defensive end who could benefit from moving to EDGE rusher at the next level. He does an excellent job using his length and speed advantage to create separation and beat blockers at the line of scrimmage. Brody uses his hands well to fight off linemen and was even able to win the inside hands battle on several occassions. Walsh does a good job maintaining the edge when defending the run and will force RBs to have to reroute inside. Solid DL/EDGE prospect with lots of untapped potential!

[player_tooltip player_id='733918' first='Asher' last='Hecox'] (@asher_hecox), LB - Hi-Line - 6'1" 190 lbs

One of the more versatile athletes still available from the 8-man ranks, Hi-Line's [player_tooltip player_id='733918' first='Asher' last='Hecox'] is a perfect do-it-all player who can be a perfect chess piece for your defense at the next level. Hecox was asked to do a little of everything from lining up on the defensive line to playing inside linebacker and lining up off the edge, meanwhile taking each challenge in stride. Asher plays with a lot of intensity and a great motor that drives him to end up near the ball on almost every play. I think Asher might project best as inside linebacker where he can use his quick instincts and athleticism to be an effective run stopper and drop into coverage over the middle of the field. He reads his keys very well and has the strength to fight off blocks while filling in his gaps. Hecox does a great job wrapping up and tackling with good technique when he gets to the ball carrier. Definitely worth giving a look in these upcoming weeks!

Here is an interesting player who was showing massive promise before an injury hampered his season. Papillion-La Vista's [player_tooltip player_id='736214' first='Blake' last='Mazur'] played right tackle before going down, showing consistent, clean footwork while engaged with defenders along with effective use of hands to win inside position. He has a strong base and good bend in his hips/knees to help him gain leverage against his opponents. Good job driving defenders off the ball and isn't afraid to be aggressive at the point of attack. Blake also played a few reps at defensive end and averaged 35.6 yards per punt. High ceiling player!
