Kuemper Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='854786' first='Taylen' last='Alford'] was a player on the fringe of making the initial rankings release but decided to wait for a larger sample on varsity to get a better read. However, I have seen Taylen sling the ball in person and was very impressed with the arm talent he flashed just in the summer before his freshman season. Watching him in 7v7 action, I was very impressed with his quick decision-making and ability to read defenses. Alford carved defenses up at all field levels, displaying nice zip and timing on his short/intermediate passes. He also showed that he can float the ball and place it in a bucket on his deep passes. Scary to think where Taylen will be as a passer by his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601655' first='Ayden' last='Coenen'] (@aydencoenen1), WR - Woodbine - 6'4" 190 lbs

Don't look now, but the Woodbine Tigers might have one of the best young receiving groups in 8-man. [player_tooltip player_id='1601655' first='Ayden' last='Coenen'] emerged on the scene, ending the year as the Tiger's second-leading receiver with 28 receptions, 287 yards, and five receiving touchdowns. Ayden is a big-bodied receiver who can create mismatches against opposing DBs using his size, physicality, and ability to attack the ball. Very much looking forward to seeing more from Ayden!

[player_tooltip player_id='1581274' first='Brooks' last='Billick'] (@BrooksBillick), DL/EDGE - South O'Brien - 6'3" 190 lbs

South O'Brien's [player_tooltip player_id='1581274' first='Brooks' last='Billick'] is a player who jumped on my radar during in-person evaluations at the Stock Up Showcase. Although there was still some raw parts of Brooks' game, he still showed tremendous upside as an EDGE/DL as he continues to grow and develop. He does a great job using his lengthy frame to create separation at the line of scrimmage with a fast first step that helps him gain ground on his opponent quickly. Tons of upside as Brooks continues to build his strength and nail down his technique.

[player_tooltip player_id='1588706' first='Leyton' last='Oldfield'] (@Leyton_Oldfield), ATH - Dowling Catholic - 6'3" 180 lbs

Dowling Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='1588706' first='Leyton' last='Oldfield'] is an interesting prospect coming from a program consistently putting players on college rosters. Leyton is a 6'3" and 180-pound receiver who could also play tight end, depending on how he develops in the upcoming years. There isn't much film on Leyton, but his measurements, athleticism shown on clips available, and further development with the Maroons and it's hard not to imagine him being a top-tier prospect by his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='833782' first='Rhyker' last='Wright'] (@rhyker_wright), ATH - Okoboji - 5'10" 150 lbs

Here's another athlete who received an in-person eval at the Stock Up showcase. Okoboji's [player_tooltip player_id='833782' first='Rhyker' last='Wright'] mostly grinded away on special teams for the Pioneers, but he did give us a glimpse of his playmaking ability with a returned kickoff for a touchdown and several tackles. He does a good job finding small creases in the coverage that help him spring forward for an extra few yards on his returns. Wright also flashes solid contact balance as he fights through tackle attempts. Expect Rhyker to work himself into a bigger role on defense and possibly on offense too!
