The Class of 2025 Rankings went live last week with our final update of the Class. During the process we added 40+ athletes to the list, pushing our total to just under 500 ranked athletes in the Class of 2025. Lucky for college recruiters and coaching staffs at the D2/D3 level, many of these additions are still uncommitted and looking for that next level home. In today's article we are going to focus on the tape of eight of those newcomers to help ensure that the spotlight they deserve is on them. Let's go!

I wish we had gotten our eyes on Brian much earlier in his career. He is an exciting playmaker at WR for St. Thomas More. He provides his offense with a legitimate speed mismatch out wide. Brian has an explosive burst of acceleration off the line that takes away cushion given by DBs. The senior has proven he can quickly stack his CB and downfield. He tracks the ball well and has the body control to be able to make the last second adjustments to get his hands on the ball. Brian has also shown a knack for finding the open spaces in coverage. Bowman is an electric playmaker that holds some D2 and D3 offers. I'm excited to see where he ends up.

Plymouth's offense revolved around the run game, and a big reason why was the talent they had on their OL. One of those talented athletes is senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1599754' first='Chase' last='Hellmer']. The 6'3" 260 lbs senior dominates in the trenches with his power and bully mentality. He is at his best when he can attack straight out of his stance, get his hands inside on the DL, and then use his superior power to drive his man off the ball. Chase also has the tape showing off his range to pull and trap or kick out and that power still shows up as he leaves a big hole for his RB to attack. Don't miss out on the senior.

A senior RB/LB that I have liked since watching him live during the 2024 season is [player_tooltip player_id='1599756' first='Hayden' last='Buckel'] out of St. Croix Central. On offense, Hayden is utilized on a ton of inside carries. That fits its the strengths of the senior RB. He is quick to identify the hole and attack it. He runs behind his pads with a low center of gravity. His power is his top trait with the ball in his hands, forcing defenders to earn their tackles and punishing them at the point of contact. All while also having enough long speed to take a trap to the house.

On defense Hayden maintains that physical, aggressive, quick processing play style. He is quick to diagnose plays and trigger downhill. Hayden does a good job of running through the front seven and shooting through gaps to meet RBs at or behind the line. The 2025 RB/LB has earned multiple D3 roster offers to this point. Check out the tape if you haven't. I'm excited to see where the versatile athlete commits.

When I watch through the highlights of Ashton one word quickly comes to mind. Fearless. The 5'10" 180 lbs DB flies around the football field at 100 mph on every snap. You will find the senior lining up all over the field. CB, S, even down in the box to help in run support. Ashton has the next level speed to pair with that aggressive play style, which allows him to fly through the front seven and close quickly against the run and on the ball in the pass game. In coverage, Ashton shows quick feet and hips to mirror routes as well as a nice acceleration burst when he comes out of his backpedal. A program can get a legitimate impact player on defense with the addition of Baumann.

Nick embodies the role of a possession WR. The 6'1" 190 lbs WR is so reliable out wide. He finds a way to get open whether it be with route running or by using his strong frame to create space from the DB. Nick has strong hands and the body control to be able to twist or contort himself last second so that he can catch and protect the ball. The senior possesses strong hands that allow him to make those difficult catches in traffic too. Lastly, the big WR is a difficult tackle in the open field after the catch. Tap into the senior's final highlight reel.

Another senior OL from a run heavy offense is [player_tooltip player_id='1554641' first='Fisher' last='Kunesh'] of Rice Lake. The 6'1" 275 lbs athlete did a great job this season of controlling his man. Throughout his highlights you see him use leverage, consistently accurate hand placement and keep himself between the defender and the alley designed for the RB. Fisher also flashes power to be able to walk his DL off the line of scrimmage and into the second level. That ability to help reset the line of scrimmage downfield was huge for Rice Lake as they returned to Madison at the end of the year. Kunesh is one of the more slept on athletes on the OL. Check him out.

A State Champion still on the open market is St. Catherine's RB [player_tooltip player_id='1599773' first='Imarion' last='Holder']. The electric RB ran for just under 1,000 yards while also putting up 8.3 yds/att. The 5'9" 180 lbs senior definitely has the production on a weekly basis to show he deserves a shot at the next level. Watching through the highlights you see the speed to turn seams of daylight into highlight reel TD runs. The senior also shows off patience and decisiveness when running the ball. Imarion is not one to waste time dancing in the backfield. He trusts his OL and his eyes and when he sticks his foot in the ground to get upfield he attacks the defense. Check him out. Holder could be a great addition to a 2025 recruiting class.

Brock spent his senior season putting up numbers on both sides of the ball. He was the University School starting QB and safety, earning first team all conference at both positions. I really like what I see from the 6'3" 195 lbs senior at safety. Range to cover ground, ball skills to create turnovers, and the ability to diagnose plays quickly and give him a head start on closing on the ball. The senior is also a very reliable tackler who does a great job of wrapping up when he meets the ball carrier. Brock has size, ball skills, athleticism, and a high football IQ that are well worth checking out. Give the highlights a look for yourself.
