Below we have a list of standout offensive players who can take over a game with their play on the field. These ballers showed great skill and talent last season, putting up great numbers and helping put their teams in position to succeed. This offseason, their names will be hot topics and they will be mentioned amongst the top of their position groups.

Nehemiah Jordan | WR | Channelview

Jordan plays with strength and pure athleticism at the receiver position. He uses his body to shield defenders from the ball and make impressive contested grabs. He shows incredible athleticism, especially in the redzone. Jordan is dominant in one-on-one coverage and wins jump-balls with ease. He high points throws and displays strong hands coming down with tough catches. Jordan can excel at all levels of the field, but can change a game with his deep threat abilities. It does not matter who is in the vicinity, Jordan will go up and get it. For his junior campaign, Jordan racked up 645 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns on 45 catches. He is a player who will be a top name in the area and a must-see talent on the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632242' first='John' last='Hebert'] | RB | Strake Jesuit

The leading rusher in the state put on a show during his junior year. Hebert put everybody on notice of his game. He displayed strength and breakaway speed, being the workhorse of the Crusader offense. Hebert showed incredible toughness and stamina, being the focal part of the offense and still putting up video game numbers. Hebert did not show any decline in the games he played and looked to be the best player on the field when he stepped on it. He ran for an incredible 3,542 yards and 38 touchdowns, averaging 273 rushing yards a game. Hebert is returning as a top back in the state and will draw even more eyes for his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579837' first='Jordan' last='Hernandez'] | WR | Pearland

Jet once again showed why he is mentioned amongst some of the best in the area. He is a playmaker, game-changer, and all of the above. He is a consistent target, creating separation with his quickness an route running abilities. Jet shows great strength fighting through contact and understands leverage. He manipulates defenders, gets them leaning one way and goes the other in a flash, creating the space needed to generate explosive plays. Jet is a threat at all levels of the field and can turn a screen into a touchdown in the blink of an eye. For his junior campaign, Jet hauled in 63 catches for 1,094 yards and 15 touchdowns. A player to have on the radars with his skill on the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371994' first='Dionne' last='Sims'] | RB | C.E. King

Sims explosiveness cannot be ignored. All he needs is a sliver of daylight and it is a house-call. His initial burst gets him through running lanes and his top end speed leaves defenders reaching for air. Sims displays incredible vision and physicality on his runs. He will run through arm tackles and initiate the contact in tight areas. Sims shows elusiveness as well, making defenders miss in space and hitting another gear in the open field. Sims has all of the tools and a deep bag of moves to evade defenses. He is a must-watch and will be a popular name this offseason and heading into next season.

Holden Miller | WR | Summer Creek

Miller emerged as a reliable playmaker for the Bulldog offense last season, making key plays and showing some impressive skills at the position. He displayed great body control and adjustments to the ball in the air. Miller fought through contact and came down with jaw-dropping catches throughout the season. He dominated one-on-one matchups and proved to be a deep threat on the outside who could not be stopped at times. Miller tallied 740 yards and 10 touchdowns on 51 catches. He will be a key returner for the Bulldogs and a player who will generate much buzz around his name this offseason.
