Region 6: Top c/o 26 WR's This Season

With the 2024 season coming to an end, I'm doing a postseason analysis for receiver prospects from every Classification/District/Region in Florida. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Justin Williams–Buchholz High     6'0 185lbs   Williams shows outstanding burst and acceleration after the catch, shows an ability to drop his shoulder and run through tackles, and has top-level breakaway speed.   STATS: 85 receptions for 1,473 yards and 13 touchdowns.      2. Carl Jean-Bart– Davenport High    6'0 170lbs    Jean-Bart is a big-play receiver with the speed to consistently gain big yards.  He shows natural hands and the ability to adjust to the ball in the air, consistently getting behind defensive backs.   STATS: 68 receptions for 1,379 yards and 9 touchdowns.        3. DJ Hicks– Buchholz High   5'9 160lbs    Hicks is a slot receiver with great top-end speed, burst, and acceleration, and is good at using subtle moves and hesitations to set up his routes and gain separation.   STATS: 69 receptions for 1,019 yards and 8 touchdowns.      4. [player_tooltip player_id='1128598' first='Bryce' last='Backus']– JW Mitchell High   5'9 175lbs   Backus shows good contact balance, runs through tackles, has solid hands, a good feel for maximizing space and finding soft spots in zones, and generates a lot of yards after the catch due to his athleticism.   STATS: 38 receptions for 800 yards and 12 touchdowns.      5. Xavier Clemente- Land O'Lakes High   Clemente does a good job of getting a clean release and getting into his routes quickly. He is a playmaking receiver who shows speed and big-play potential and demonstrates very good balance and change of direction in the open field.   STATS: 42 receptions for 766 yards and 12 touchdowns.      6. [player_tooltip player_id='1142185' first='Keil' last='McGriff']- Buchholz High   5'10 170lbs   McGriff possesses good change-of-direction ability, shows outstanding balance and running ability. He is very good at creating space with sharp bursts and smooth acceleration.   STATS: 44 receptions for 737 yards and 6 touchdowns.      7. RJ Peabody- JW Mitchell High   6'1 150lbs    Peabody is a smooth, running receiver who can track the ball in the air and has some route-running ability; he shows the ability to adjust to the ball.   STATS: 32 receptions for 715 yards and 6 touchdowns.      8. London Greene- Lennard High   5'10 160lbs    Greene shows very good quickness, gets off the line quickly and can gain separation; he has very good open-field running ability, vision, and acceleration.   STATS: 55 receptions for 711 yards and 10 touchdowns.
