Five Class of 2029 Colorado QB's To Keep An Eye On

The state of Colorado is in good hands when it comes to the Quarterback position in the 2029 class. I'll touch on five for now.    When you watch Reiser play, there's always one thing that comes to mind; Kyler Murray. Ironically he's an elite baseball player as well. Reiser is the definition of a dual-threat QB, excelling as a runner and a passer. He has a pass first mentality, and he uses his athleticism to extend plays. He effectively goes through his reads, and rarely stares his primary target down. His quick release allows for smooth throws from the pocket. He has a very strong arm, and has showcased the ability to throw from multiple arm angles, as well as make accurate passes while throwing off platform. When he runs, he's a nightmare for defenses. His breakaway speed and agility make him a difficult target to tackle in the open field. He's been one of the most consistent QB's I've had the privilege of watching this fall.     Foreman is one of the best all around athletes in the state in this class, in football, and lacrosse. He has an elite combination of size, speed, and explosiveness. He's already pushing 6'0 and he's a well built athlete with a good frame. The thing that jumps out at you when you watch him play, is his big arm, and his speed in the open field. He may be one of the fastest players in the state regardless of position. His ability to hit the edge and leave defenders in the dust is second to none amongst his fellow QB's in this class. His strength and balance allow him to bulldoze would be tacklers in the open field without losing a step. He reminds me of a baby Josh Allen.     Jones is a field general who works as hard as any when it comes to perfecting his craft. He has an exceptionally high football IQ, and plays with confidence, and a giant chip on his shoulder. He does an excellent job at going through his progressions, and does an excellent job at looking defenders off. His anticipation and timing is next level, he consistently throws his WR's open, and he's a master at fitting the ball into tight windows. He's sneaky athletic, showing the ability to extend plays with his legs, and take off for long touchdown runs when the play breaks down. His ball placement is phenomenal on hole shots, and the speed in which he processes the game allows him to play at a higher level than most.     Manning is an exceptional touch passer with the ability to read and breakdown defensive coverages. He's tough, and elusive in the pocket, with good mobility out of it. He delivers short and intermediate passes with good velocity, and he has really good ball placement on deeper throws. He's a master at throwing with anticipation, which led to a ton of big plays for Creek Drobnitch this fall. Marshall throws one of the best back-shoulder passes in this class. When he gets into a rhythm, he can be one of the toughest matchups for opposing defenses, turning any contest into his personal game of pitch and catch with his wideouts. I would say that Marshall has the highest ceiling of any of the QB's in this class. He has the work ethic, he has the pedigree (Father-Peyton, Grandfather- Archie, Uncle-Eli, and Cousin-Arch), and he's a natural born leader.     Rogers is one of those QB's that just surprises you with how accurate he is at this age. He throws with great anticipation and timing. He has a natural feel for where his wideout is going to be out of their breaks, and he frequently throws his wideouts open. He has enough arm strength to be a vertical passing threat, and he throws a naturally tight spiral. He is a very accurate passer on the move, and he doesn't allow mistakes to rattle him at all. He plays with such a cool, and calm demeanor, you were thinking he was just hanging out with friends after dropping a 40 yard dime. Rogers is just another one of those extremely talented QB's that Boulder seems to produce.
