Under the Radar: Prospects Who Should Be on PRZ’s Rankings

As an outside linebacker, he does a good job dropping in coverage to take away passing lanes and get his hands on balls thrown in his direction. As an edge player, he has good skills. He explodes off the ball well and does a good job of creating chaos against offensives by chasing downplays in the backfield. He has a good 1st step and offensive tackles struggle to get their hands on him. He is excellent at coming upfield and making tackles in the open field. He is like a heat-seeking missile making tackles in the open field. He has excellent form as a tackler and seems to understand how to tackle at different angles very well. In pass coverage, Carter also does a good job dropping in coverage and making plays on the ball thrown his way. As a running back, he shows good speed. He shows elite speed when he gets into the open field and runs past defenders. He also played as a quarterback in Mifflin's option offense. He did a great job making the right reads, pulling the ball, and running for big plays. Then, on defense, he is a good safety who does an excellent job in pass coverage and run support. He is excellent as a running back. He can hit the hole well and shows good speed when he gets into the open field. He is also a physical running back who breaks tackles easily from defenders. On defense, he is good as a linebacker/strong safety type of player who makes plays all over the field. His ability to run the ball and make defenders cut in the hole is excellent. He has good speed and can score anytime he touches the ball. His ability to jump cut and make defenders miss is special as well. Cain is also a good defensive back as well. He has excellent coverage skills and gets his hands on the ball thrown in his direction. He is a good athlete who explodes off the ball. He has a great 1st step as he can catch offensive linemen off the ball and make plays in the offensive backfield. He also shows a great motor as he chases plays all over the field. The other part of his game that makes him special is his ability to rush the passer. For such a young player he does a good job of having different pass rush moves against offensives.
