Omaha North junior [player_tooltip player_id='796582' first='Max' last='Clark'] has been on a tear all season long but saved his best for the regular season finale. In week 9, Clark recorded 21 tackles and 5 TFLs in a tightly contested game with Lincoln Southwest. Clark moved to middle linebacker this season after playing EDGE/OLB last year and has been just as unstoppable. Max instantly pops on tape with his mix of speed and power, which helps him blow past blockers and make big plays in the opposing backfield. He plays with great instincts and rapid-fire first step, allowing him to fill his gaps effectively while quickly getting downhill. Max uses his strong upper body and violent hands to disengage from blocks very well. He also does a great job keeping himself in the play, never over-committing or playing himself out of position, instead finding and flowing to the ball very fluidly. I wouldn't be surprised to see Max join the other 26's who have recently earned offers.

Burke QB [player_tooltip player_id='207041' first='Nate' last='Collins'] put on a historic performance to cap off his prep career. Collins completed 21 out of 28 (75%) passes for 435 yards, seven passing touchdowns (Ties Class A record), and 141.4 QBR. Nate sliced through the Packer's defense efficiently, showing great decision-making and accuracy on his passes. He displays nice touch on his deep balls, putting enough air on it to give his receiver time to get under the pass. He's very mobile and knows how to extend plays with his legs while maintaining the ability to get his feet set before attempting the pass. Good job layering passes over defenders. One of the top available QBs left in the 2025 cycle!

I wish I had the tape to watch Lathen's monster week nine performance against the Lincoln Links. Huntsman erupted for an insane 18 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, and two sacks, showing his explosive playmaking at the line of scrimmage. From the clips I've seen, Lathan looks solid in size at 5'11" and 195 pounds, with good athleticism and strength to go with his frame. Great motor and intensity. Fills his gaps in nicely. Would love to check out a season highlight clip from Hunstman.

What a way to spring your team into the playoffs for the first time in school history. That's exactly what Gretna East RB [player_tooltip player_id='1075660' first='Connor' last='Sams'] did in week 9 against crosstown rival Gretna, carrying the ball 27 times for 243 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Watching Sams' game tape, I was impressed with his explosiveness and nice burst he flashes in his first step. Connor is patient in the backfield, using his vision to identify running lanes before firing like a rocket— especially dangerous if he can win to the edge. His 4.56 speed is evident in how well he can outrace good tackling angles from defenders. Sams is also a strong and balanced runner who can stay upright even when powering through contact.

It's been great watching QB [player_tooltip player_id='1113956' first='Tresten' last='Hass'] put it all together in year three and deliver the season he's had so far. The junior signal-caller has helped lead his team to an undefeated regular season and the #2 seed in the playoffs while playing smart, efficient football and flashing his massive upside. Tresten closed out the regular season, completing 16 of 20 pass attempts (80%) for 255 yards, four passing touchdowns, and 160.4 QBR. When watching Hass' game tape, the biggest thing that stands out is how poised and calm he looks running Seward's offense. Hass can stand tall in the pocket while moving through his progressions and trusts his arm to make any throw. He can get the ball out quickly, deliver it accurately, and avoid turnovers. Tresten can also keep the chains moving on the ground, showing the athleticism and quickness to scramble for big plays (400+ rushing yards) when he needs to. If they keep playing this way, the sky is the limit for Tresten and Co.!
