State Tackling Leaders to Watch

In this article, we are going to highlight several players who are among the leaders in tackles in the state. He seems to always have a bead on the ball carrier. Neal reads the play well and puts himself in position to make the tackle. Neal has racked up 102 tackles and 6 tackles for loss. He is a player to watch out for over the next couple of seasons for Southside. Brixey has the versatility to play multiple positions on the defensive side of the ball for the Bulldogs. Over the course of the season, Brixey has racked up 66 tackles and 10 tackles for loss. Brixey has the ability to live in the opposing offensive backfield if left unaccounted for on the field. He puts himself in a position to make the tackle. Johnson uses his speed to drop back into pass coverage. He has the speed to swarm to the ball carrier. Johnson has racked up 87 tackles and 11 tackles for loss. Johnson is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons. Sellers sheds blocks quickly and gets to the opposing ball carrier quickly. Sellers has recorded 97 tackles and 5 tackles for loss this season. He gets sideline to sideline and has no trouble getting to the ball carrier. He does a great job of using his speed to get to the ball carrier. Williams can plug up the rushing lanes or drop back into pass coverage. The Camden Fairview linebacker has amassed 82 tackles and 7 tackles for loss over the course of the season. He is a player to watch out for as the season progresses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
