Film Review: WPIAL Hidden Gems In The 2025 Class

He is excellent in the run game the way he uses his strength and power to drive them off the ball. He shows good athleticism by moving well when he pulls in the run game. Kane moves his feet well and stays in front of defenders well. He gets off the ball quickly and is disruptive in the backfield. He does a good job of using his hands and arms to push offensive linemen back. He has good pass-rush moves and a great feel for how to attack the offense when it is a passing situation. On run plays, he does a good job of keeping contain and forcing everything inside or making the play. He does a great job of exploding off the edge and putting pressure on the offense. He has good pass-rush moves to give offensive linemen fits when they try to block him. He also shows good strength, and he is hard to move off his spot. Finally, he is good against the run and does an excellent job creating chaos for the offense. He does a nice job of reading and reacting to the play and then attacking downhill. He has good run fits where he is able to take proper angles and come downhill to make plays near the line of scrimmage. He is also a good tackler. He does a nice job of making tackles in the open field. He also does a good job dropping in pass coverage. He is equally as good inside and outside the pocket. Inside the pocket, he does a good job setting his feet and throwing the ball. He has good mechanics and footwork in the pocket. Then, when the play breaks down, he does a great job scrambling around to make plays. He does a good job of keeping his eyes open downfield to find open receivers. He and his receivers are in tune and do a nice job on the scrambling drills. Heinle has all the tools to play at the next level as a quarterback.     [player_tooltip player_id='179420' first='Jayden' last='Lindsey'] is a playmaker who can score anytime he touches the ball. He has legit speed and moves to make defenders miss in space. He can be used in both the rushing attack and the passing game. As a runner, he hits the hole and shows good elusiveness. As a receiver, he is used as a slot receiver and an outside receiver. He is good at either position by running routes and catching the ball well. He can score by catching short passes and making bigger plays out of them. He can also score on deep passes thrown over the top. As a defender, he does a nice job in coverage coming upfield and making tackles in the open field. He plays right tackle for West Allegheny and does a nice job of firing off the ball to block defenders. He is excellent in pass protection by setting up to pass block and moving his feet to stay in front of edge defenders. Then, when he runs blocks, he shows a good ability to drive defenders off the ball. He plays as a nickel back/strong safety in Peters Township's defense. He is a good athlete that does a nice job playing in space. He does an excellent job of reading and reacting to the play and then coming upfield to make tackles. He shows a knack for getting off blocks and finding a nose for the ball carrier.
