Catawba River Region Players To Watch In Week 7

And they'll be counted on to lead their teams now and beyond into the postseason.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>And there are a few standout performances from last week, particularly in the quarterback and defensive secondary that you'll want to keep your eye on this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1157761' first='Mason' last='Picket-Hicks'] </strong>| RB | South Pointe</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hicks has run for 611 yards and 7 touchdowns, including a 43-yard TD run last week in a 64-0 rout of Camden. He has been a steady force in the Stallions' backfield. He has thrown for 1042 yards so far in 2024 and 11 touchdowns. He is averaging 260.5 yards a game and is being smart with the football, as he has only thrown one interception. He has ran for 537 yards and four touchdowns so far this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Zach Jackson </strong>| RB | Rock Hill</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson had a 13-yard touchdown run in the Bearcats' 28-23 win over Fort Mill last week. <strong>Cason Kanupp </strong>also scored a 10-yard rushing score.
