He's tough, aggressive and can easily shed blocks out on the perimeter to make tackles at the second and third levels.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>DC Crane, 6" 190, Parish Episcopal</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Crane has a knack for making big plays, he's athletic, a sure tackler, and can make up for other people's mistakes. His full senior tape should be a good one on both sides of the football. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Xavier Wells, 6'4" 170, Lake Belton</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long-limbed cornerback with excellent ball skills and springy leaping ability. He reads route concepts like a book and has the confidence to jump them, he's a natural at leaning and locating the football and is a physical cover two rerouter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Jeramiah Appel, 5'11" 160, Cooper</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Appel has excellent closing burst out of his breaks, he matches a target's hands to generate PBUs, and has solid ball skills at his high safety position. He's shown some positional versatility lining up at corner and will read through the QB's three-step drop &amp; drive on the football. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>[player_tooltip player_id='1014306' first='Jonathan' last='Blake'] 5'10" 170, Crowley</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A true thumper that plays downhill and loves contact. Blake runs through his tackle attempts, he's quite rangy and can cover a lot of ground while the football is in the air. He's got plenty of ball production in 2024 and I think his offer list is going to grow rather quickly. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Trenton Evan-Williams, 5'11" 150, Davenport</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Trenton is a natural at reading the quarterback's intentions, he can elevate to make a play on the football at its highest point and has impressive recovery speed. He too has experience at both corner and safety, however, I think based on his footwork and hips, he's a better fit at corner at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Parker Johnson, 5'10" 175, Stratford</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson may not be the biggest guy on the field, but man does he play fearless. He's got natural ball skills, his breaks stay within the framework of his body, he tracks down ball carriers like a banshee and he always seems to be around the football.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Nick Willis, 6'2" 160, Princeton</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long cornerback that will bait quarterbacks into poor decisions. He's got soft hands, explosive change of direction, a good feel for zone coverage, and is a reliable tackler on an island.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
