The junior tailback was the engine that accelerated the Yellow Jackets' offense against a tenacious Lexington defense. Running out of the Wildcat and behind offensive linemen Ethan Fitzgerald and [player_tooltip player_id='1251916' first='Malcolm' last='Gaston'], Doe accounted for all but one point in North Augusta's 20-19 loss to the Wildcats. Doe almost came away with the victory but was overwhelmed off the snap behind the one-yard-line by Lexington's defense which included linebackers [player_tooltip player_id='836316' first='Matthew' last='McAulay'], Ethan VanHouton and Nathan Escoe and defensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='1249786' first='Artem' last='Kalinkin'] and Isaiah Saxon.
