With those games came some standout performances from some players who helped get the dub for their teams. His explosive abilities were evident the entire game. Later on he added a 59-yard touchdown reception where he was hit in stride and was a blur to the defense. Excellent start to the season for this playmaker and deep ball threat.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1692551' first='Edward' last='Kelly Jr.'] | RB | Klein | 2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Kelly showed his strength and toughness as a runner vs. Oak Ridge. From the opening possession he made sure to make his presence felt. Every carry Kelly bounced off defenders and gained chuck yard after contact. He read his blocks very well and patiently slid through running lanes. Kelly finished the game with two rushing scores and an impressive kick return where he refused to go down.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Oswaldo Morales | RB | Tomball | 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Morales was a battering ram in exciting matchup vs. Stratford to kickoff the season. He continuous wore down the defense with his physical run style. Morales ran for over 150 yards and tallied up four touchdowns. He was leaned on heavily to secure the victory and showed that he is built for moments like those to end the game.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Klein Cain Offensive Line</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>This unit got anything and everything they wanted, creating space and run lanes for the backs. They did not let up the entire game, pushing and wearing down their opponent on every snap. Behind their effort and power, the Hurricane backfield had an incredible showing.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Patrick Broadway | RB | Fulshear | 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Broadway had himself a night in a great matchup against Pearland. He ran for over 200 yards along with 2 touchdowns, and some explosive runs that help carried the Chargers to victory. Broadway showed strength, power, and breakaway speed. This is nothing new coming from him but a dominant performance nonetheless from a dominant player. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jaelon Dixon | RB | Klein Cain | 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Dixon was dominant in the matchup vs. Cy-Fair. He weaved and ran through defenders, showing the blend of elusiveness and power. His sudden change of direction led to many big runs and kept the offense in a flow. Dixon account for three touchdowns, two on the ground and one receiving. </em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
