Class of 2025 Pre-Season: All-Dominant Team

<p>With only a couple of weeks left until the kickoff of week 0, the excitement of high school football in Arkansas is rising once again. Here is the 2024 preseason all-dominant team for the class of 2025. The all-dominant team is for athletes that we expect to continue their dominance on the football field and in the classroom or shock the state and rise up recruiting boards.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterback:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='361302' first='Grayson' last='Wilson'] enters his first and final season with Conway. Wilson displays command and leadership in the huddle. He showcases good technique and footwork within the pocket, stepping into his throws to generate torque. He has good processing of blitzes and coverages pre-snap with good pocket awareness, as he can diagnose and anticipate areas where the pocket breaks down and evades pressure. His ability to scan the full field quickly is impressive. Wilson can hit all levels of the field with touch very good and ball placement. He displays a physical downhill running style with good post-snap vision to read first-level defenders and flow to locate the running lane. Settles has the ability to make multiple cuts due to his good change of direction, lateral agility, burst, and vision to locate an opening backside or play side. Jordan displays solid hands and good hand-eye coordination to highpoint the football and catch vs contest. He can track in over-the-shoulder throws due to very good ball-tracking skills. His stature, body control, and athleticism allow him to be a 1v1 jump ball and red zone threat, along with his quick release package. Martin can create good separation off his breaks due to good foot quickness, burst, and change of direction, giving his quarterback a window. Along with his big build, he showcases strong hands, good hand-eye coordination, and balance to catch vs. contest, high point the football, or adjust mid-route. King displays a good anchor vs. power/bull rushers on the jump and 45 sets as he displays good hand timing, hand strength, and hand placement, along with good foot quickness, balance, and core strength to anchor and control the opposition. He is a good base blocker who explodes off the line of scrimmage with good pad level, hand placement, and foot quickness, creating leverage against his opposition to drive and displace. Ball is a good bull rusher due to his good lower body strength, acceleration, and hand placement as he engages quickly to extend and drive back the OL or speed to power combined with good pad level, allowing him to gain leverage to put pressure into the pocket. Dominates base and reach blocks due to good processing skills to diagnose base/reach blocks with good pad level, reaction, hand placement, and timing to extend and lift or drive the OL due to his ability to attack the shoulder, control and reading with good up field burst with the ability to disengage.<em> </em>He brings a sideline-to-sideline motor that can chase down ball carriers with physicality on the edge. He consistently displays very good explosion off the line of scrimmage. Archer is a dynamic playmaker on the edge, showcasing good athleticism, explosion and edge containment awareness outside to force the play into traffic. Good explosion off the LOS with the ability to pursue backside vs the run with a very good sideline-to-sideline motor. He displays very good bend, foot quickness, hand placement, hand strength, and lower body power to create leverage to read, shed, and beat his opposition, making consistent plays in the backfield. As an off-ball linebacker, his IQ, leadership, motor, and effort will make a significant impact. Good quick first step while reading and reacting instantly by attacking downhill vs. the run with good angles, staying square with physicality. Vs the pass, he has a good feel in zone coverage, not allowing any opening in his zone and displacing receivers off routes, showcasing good change of direction, lateral agility and high football IQ. He can play Mike or Will spots at the second level. Hall displays the ability to be physical at the line of scrimmage (Press Man) with good hand fighting and strength to shut down any receiver post-snap. He can backpedal and switch his hips due to good fluidity and footwork to stay with his man vertically or on breaks. Good read and react ability, showcasing his skillset to break on the ball quickly and arrive at the catch point to force a PBU or make a play in space. Very good open-field tackler and has block-shedding ability on the outside. Fricks displays good acceleration off the line of scrimmage with good foot quickness, quickly covering ground and reaching the break/stem of his routes. Good hand-eye coordination and strong hands enable him to secure catches in contested situations or adjust mid-route due to his catch radius and body control. His smooth route-running, foot quickness, and physicality make him a formidable red-zone threat. Additionally, he is a solid after-the-catch (YAC) threat, with good change of direction, active feet, and the balance needed to absorb contact and break tackles. He is eager and forceful as a blocker, with good pad level, hand placement, and leg drive. He can play physically, getting north and south quickly, and can become elusive in space due to his solid lateral agility. Showcases solid speed and lateral agility to make a man miss in the second level or to become a multi-cut back and create in space. Good contact balance, body control, leg drive, and active feet to consistently break tackles and gain positive yards.
