2027 Stock-Risers: Defensive Line

He's not the tallest edge rusher you'll find, but he's long and explosive off the line. He has the strength to win at the point of attack and once he gets ball-carriers in his grasp, he's not going to let go. His length and hand usage are evident on film and he takes the angles or a linebacker or safety. With all the talent around him, it's easy to overlook his presence, but he's a strong run-stuffer who can take on blocks while also flashing some pass-rushing upside. He gets off the ball quickly and though he's not the biggest edge rusher, he has strong legs and is able to move offensive lineman off the line and hold his own against the run. There's potential to add some variety to his pass-rushing repertoire, and if he does that I think we'll see the raw sack numbers go up. He's still maturing as a run-stopper and with consistency, but the pass-rushing flashes are there and exciting.
