He's a dual-threat prospect that has played multiple positions over his career. In the spring he was at quarterback and really shiwed his athleticism. Lee improvise and make defenses pay with his running ability. He had 13 catches for 284 yards and 2 touchdowns and also had 12 carries for 58 yards and a touchdown last season. He lines up all over the field for the Hurricanes. Rennert's biggest strength is his versatility. He can beat you in several different ways, either running or catching. He has good hands and the ability to adjust in the air. He is a tough player who will take hits and hold onto the ball. Rennert is in line for a big season for the Hurricanes. He had a strong spring camp, and I expect that to carry into the fall. He has a nose for the ball and shows good instincts in playing the run. He has the speed to run down plays. A center field safety that can redirect and moves well in the open field. Simmons is a player that plays with a natural low center-of-gravity and does a good job using leverage, his short area quicknessallows him to excel as a puller where he finishes his blocks with a nastiness and attitude.
