Garrer has performed at our camps and several other camps in the last few offseasons, and showed impressive athletic traits upon every in-person evaluation. Garrer has played both ways in his HS career, but projects as a WR at the next level. He can make plays at all three levels, possessing speed that translates. He has the lateral agility needed to separate at the top of his route and at the line. He is on the smaller side, coming in around 5'10 160. However, he can track and reel in the ball in a crowd. Garrer should eventually evolve into a playmaker for Kent State.

Our own Al Pops has been on [player_tooltip player_id='409882' first='Jaden' last='Wuerth'] since his middle school days. Wuerth instantly made an impact at the high school level, and he now holds FBS offers headed into his sophomore season. Last year, Wuerth played closer to 225 and was still able to act as a run stuffer and collapse running lanes from the outside. He presses out against blockers, winning the leverage battle and keeping his chest clean. He is both sound and clean against the run. Now, hovering around 250 pounds, his game should elevate even more. I am looking forward to watching his sophomore tape.

[player_tooltip player_id='1245919' first='Evan' last='Scott'] has been a massive riser this offseason. He is a clear P4 OL prospect, flashing a physical edge and athletic dominance on tape. Scott checks the boxes from a measurables and athletic standpoint, but it's his motor and violence that should translate. Not to mention he plays with fantastic leverage and sizes up smaller defenders well in space. I am a huge fan of Scott's game and believe he will start in a few years at the P4 level.

Khristian Bland was a man amongst boys as a freshman and is only going to get better over the next few years. Bland measures in around 6'4 270, and is still noticeably thin with the bulk of his physical development in front of him. He is still refining his technique and growing into his body, but he strikes in the chest and anchors against defenders well. He also has a solid motor, playing through the whistle and not being afraid to sit in the ring and battle. Keep an eye on Bland, as he is someone who could eventually grow into a D1 OL prospect.

DC Sondles is an explosive WR prospect with dangerous route-running ability. He is yet another prospect I have been tracking this offseason. Here is my eval from April:

"Sondles is an impressive athlete at the WR spot and is still under the radar as a recruit. He comes in with a stockier 5'11 160 frame, running low to the ground. He skates around the field, moving with fluid patterns and creating separation with deception. Doesn't have the twitchiest footwork, but he can get creative at the top of his routes with spin moves and other creative tricks. He remains in stride when he catches the football, allowing him to stretch the field and break the tape in the open field. For a shorter receiver, he tracks the ball nicely over his shoulder, tracking it around the arms of longer CBs and plucking the ball out of the air."

[player_tooltip player_id='1576058' first='Solomon' last='Mathis'] is a two-way big man who I project to play OL at the next level. He measures in around 6'5 280 with a fairly proportional frame. He is physically manipulative, washing defensive linemen down the line and misplacing second-level defenders. His finesse is perhaps the most underrated part of his game, flashing a decent pass set. Not to mention, his wingspan is hard to run around and he can catch and steer pass rushers with his length. Mathis could be a late bloomer and he is firmly on college radars after a productive offseason.

Roderick Jackson is an underrated rising senior DB that I identified this offseason. He is vastly underrecruited but deserves some looks. Here is my evaluation from earlier this month:

"Roderick Jackson is a big, physical DB prospect who is always around the football. He is a lean, muscular 6'1 190 and flies downhill to strike ball carriers and jump routes. He isn't the twitchiest prospect, but he can quickly shift his momentum downhill from his backpedal, allowing him to arrive on time and violently. His closing speed is the premier part of his game, frequently acting as the first hat to the football. He strikes with the power to de-cleat ball carriers and sometimes jar the ball loose. He guns downfield on kickoff duty, outrunning coverage and again acting as the first arrival to the ball carrier. Jackson is super underrated. He is a long, physical, athletic S prospect who violently flies to the football. Those guys tend to have roster spots waiting for them."

This year especially, the Augusta area has a fairly deep pool of talent and will send several prospects to the FBS and P4 levels this December. Here, I take a focused look on the area and highlight some prospects that continue to turn my eye.
