Three NAIA programs are flying out the starting gate like Kentucky Derby entrants and aggressively making offers to Kansas prospects ranked by Prep Redzone.

Bethany, Benedictine, and Friends aren't wasting any time reaching out to the top talent in the class of 2025.

Here is the second of three reports featuring ranked athletes collecting offers from NAIA programs which is a more impressive hobby than collecting Precious Moment Figurines.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115468' first='Kaden' last='Kearn'], DB, 5'11”, 175, Wamego

Kearn is currently ranked No. 81 overall and is the eleventh-ranked defensive back in the Kansas Class of 2025. He is one of three athletes in this group who has received an offer from the Benedictine Ravens. Kearn is an athletic defensive back who is also a big-time baseball prospect. He is quick and plays well against the run and the pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115499' first='Carter' last='Wilmarth'], LB, 6'1”, 215, Wellsville

Wellsville is a program that continues to produce college-level talent. Wilmarth is currently ranked No. 124 overall. The Wellsville linebacker has an offer from Bethany. Bethany's coaching staff is loaded with former Baker University connections. So it should be no surprise that they would be familiar with the Wellsville prospect. Wilmarth's role on the defense continues to grow. He more than double-up his tackle total between his sophomore and junior seasons. Look for him to make a run at the 100 total tackle threshold after collecting 97 total tackles as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='995120' first='Dakari' last='Wake'], ATH, 6'0”, 180, Leavenworth

Joel Osborn's staff at Benedictine is making offers to versatile and explosive athletes. Leavenworth's Wake is ranked No. 140 overall. I think his future is on the defensive side of the ball, although the Pioneers staff has used him on both sides of the ball. He has plus speed, good hands, and plays with high energy. He can run down ball carriers and finishes tackles.

[player_tooltip player_id='868949' first='Camden' last='Polifka'], ATH, 5'11”, 185, Quinter

Quinter's Polifka is currently ranked No. 145 overall. The Bulldog defender is difficult to block. He can beat you with speed or overpower offensive linemen. Polifka can play linebacker or be a standup defensive end. He has received an offer from Friends University.

[player_tooltip player_id='1283041' first='Jack' last='Cook'], LB, 6'1”, 215, Blue Valley West

Cook is the third prospect in this group who has an offer from Benedictine. He is ranked No. 157 overall in the class of 2025. Cook can best be described as a Blood Hound with a nose for the football. He finished with 40-plus tackles as a junior and is a turnover forcing machine. He finished with two forced fumbles, one interception, and a blocked punt for the Jaguars last fall.
