Inspired by yesterday's grilled and barbecued meat feast, this big man wanted to acknowledge a group of Kansas Big-Men collecting college offers this summer.

I still have a list of more than 30 college prospects from Kansas with offers to feature, and I am working on updating the class of 2026 rankings which are scheduled to be published next week. Kansas prospects please keep updated on your recruitment by direct messaging me on X @KSScoutDeck. Also please claim your profiles on Prep Redzone so college coaches can reach out to you.

[player_tooltip player_id='1213993' first='Harper' last='Engel'], DL, 6'4”, 250, Shawnee Mission Northwest

Engel is currently ranked No. 63 overall after this week's rankings update. The talented defensive lineman has multiple offers. He has offers from Division II programs Emporia State and Northwest Missouri. He has an NAIA offer from MidAmerica Nazarene and a JUCO offer from Coffeyville. Engel is an explosive defensive end who gets off the ball like he was shot out of a cannon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1213981' first='Jon' last='Gould'], OL, 6'5”, 260, Maize

Gould is currently ranked No. 114 overall. The Maize prospect recently competed at the Oklahoma State lineman camp and has an offer from Coffeyville. He has a quick first step and keeps his hands inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='570260' first='Eric' last='Smith III'], DL, 6'2”, 215, Atchison

Smith has an offer from Coffeyville Community College. He is currently ranked No. 123 overall by Prep Redzone. Smith can play defensive or tight end and recently competed in camp action at Kansas State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1228505' first='Jack' last='Hartman'], DL, 6'2”, 225, Troy

Troy Trojan prospect Hartman is currently ranked No. 125 overall and has been all over the camp scene this offseason. He has competed at camps hosted by Emporia State, Missouri Western, and Kansas State. The two-sport prospect has an offer from Benedictine.

[player_tooltip player_id='1274649' first='William' last='Beck Jr.'], OL, 6'2”, 285, Olathe Northwest

Beck was a new addition to the rankings in July. He has an offer from Bethany College and landed in the No. 137 slot. He is best suited to play in the interior of the line at center or guard. He has plus-speed making him dangerous as a lead-pulling blocker. This young man loves his pancake blocks and will be a prospect to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301851' first='Logan' last='Lira'], OL, 6'4”, 270, Andover Central

Lira has kept a busy schedule this offseason attending camps and combines. He has multiple offers including Morningside, Bethany, and Peru State. Lira can play offensive tackler or defensive end. He should be a major factor on a Jaguar squad poised to have a big season in 2024.
