Leading up to the complete, 300-player list of rising seniors on Wednesday, we will count down the top 50 in more detail.

And make sure to check back following the release for additional features and notes, including looks at debuts, stock-risers and top remaining uncommitted prospects.

50. [player_tooltip player_id='914205' first='Derrick' last='Johnson Jr.'] — 6-4, 230 TE — Holy Cross

The athletic and versatile offensive weapon and multisport standout holds down a top-50 spot in another round of rankings updates. Johnson holds at least 20 offers as the highest-ranked rising senior on a Tigers squad looking to build on a resurgent 2023.

49. [player_tooltip player_id='1331302' first='Lekedrin' last='Harvey'] — 6-0, 205 RB — Dutchtown

One of two top-50 debuts, the Griffins' speedy running back gained some notable recruiting steam this summer on the heels of an outdoor track season that included 10.50-second 100-meter and 21.53-second 200-meter dashes.

48. [player_tooltip player_id='902053' first='Kingston' last='Jones'] — 6-0, 175 WR — John F. Kennedy

Another notable leap up the class rankings for the New Orleans speedster with his own impressive finish to junior year with 10.68-second 100-meter and 21.38-second 200-meter dashes at outdoor state championships. Jones committed to Louisiana Tech in early June.

47. [player_tooltip player_id='710274' first='Dylan' last='Singleton'] — 6-4, 280 DL — Loreauville

The big defensive tackle, a two-way lineman during his high school career with the Tigers, committed to Texas Tech this spring as a prospect with the potential to be a disruptive playmaker inside for the Red Raiders.

46. [player_tooltip player_id='291089' first='Jackson' last='Bradley'] — 6-3, 200 QB — Oak Grove

The two-time state champion and Louisiana Tech commit remains steady among the state's top quarterback prospects in the rising senior class with a good build, athleticism, strong arm and better potential as a passer than he seems to sometime be credited when Oak Grove is able to dominate many of its games on the ground.

45. [player_tooltip player_id='291153' first='Johnnie' last='Thiel IV'] — 6-0, 170 WR — Destrehan

Another Louisiana Tech prospect in the top 50 of the class rankings after his pledge early this summer, Thiel is one of the state's most polished receivers and a good athlete with the ability to make plays in all three phases.

44. [player_tooltip player_id='291094' first='Kylin' last='Wheeler'] — 5-11, 175 WR — Rayne

Another of the fastest prospects on this list, Wheeler added Nicholls State to this summer to his list of a handful of Division-I offers. The Rayne standout has been one of the state's more under-ranked prospects in our estimation and could prove to be a steal for one of the FCS programs currently recruiting him.

43. [player_tooltip player_id='913904' first='Brent' last='Gordon Jr.'] — 5-11, 175 DB — Cecilia

The potentially versatile defensive back with a knack for making high-impact plays and a willingness to play physically continues to climb the rankings. Louisiana (Lafayette) may have landed another steal with the June commitment from the local standout.

42. [player_tooltip player_id='734867' first='Emile' last='Picarella'] — 6-2, 215 QB — University Lab

The Cubs' leader remains Louisiana's highest-ranked quarterback prospect in the 2025 class with his the height, stature and strong arm colleges to be on a long list of major college radars and already a program record-setting first season at U-High on which to build.

41. [player_tooltip player_id='710076' first='Joshua' last='Brantley'] — 6-4, 200 ATH — Ruston

The Bearcats' quarterback, a state champion this past winter in his first season as starter, is among the state's top-ranked "athletes" with the potential to play safety or receiver at the next level at Tulane, where he committed in June.
