JAMESTOWN, ND-- We release our final piece of content from the Jamestown Jimmies Prospect Camp from a couple of Thursdays ago. This quick list of prospects in Part II come from two states that I am sure any scout in America has never paired together in a report, South Dakota and California. A new 2027 name to know in South Dakota, a look-in on our TE1 in 2025 in South Dakota from the Jamestown camp, and two twin brothers from California that both got their first offers on the board in Jamestown.

Tyson Schumacher, WR, Herreid-Selby, SD 2027

Tyson was one of the youngest prospects in attendance in Jamestown, yet competed quite well against a group of most upperclassmen. Tyson impressed me with his hands during camp and I thought from start to finish during Indy Drills, progressed his skillsets further with the coaching he received from the Jimmies coaching staff. Especially with his balance around the sidelines with his footwork, that was what struck a chord with me later into Indy. Little brother of current Jamestown Jimmies offensive linemen Nathan Schumacher who recently signed with there 2024 class, so the family pedigree at the next-level is a good one that I will be tracking over the next handful of years as Tyson gets tape available and likely has a growth spurt in coming.

[player_tooltip player_id='892813' first='Dalyn' last='Dschaak'], TE, Sturgis Brown, SD 2025 Twitter

Every young man no matter what their rank may lie, has development they can keep rising which was the case of TE1 [player_tooltip player_id='892813' first='Dalyn' last='Dschaak'] of Sturgis Brown at the Jamestown Prospect Camp. I enjoyed seeing Dalyn grow as a route runner from early summer to a couple Thursdays ago, as I felt as he has built his size slightly bigger which has prompted stronger hands from my eyes, which is what you want out of your tight end at the next-level. He also appeared more instinctive with his routes in Jamestown getting good separation despite going up against defensive backs with good physicality as Dalyn has continued to blossom this summer with his football IQ. He finally got his first Division II offer after camp from the Jimmies, and I certainly like the fit for Dalyn at the next-level at UJ as they need a sound leader in the locker room like Dalyn as they make their way into the powerful NSIC.

Luke Johnston, OL/DL, Jesuit, CA 2025 Twitter

There was not another offensive line prospect in attendance that stood out more with his reach than Jesuit (CA) offensive linemen Luke Johnston on Thursday in Jamestown. For his 6'4 250 pound frame, I also was intrigued with his explosiveness he showed off with his fiery first step as that consistently caught waves with me during 1v1s for Luke. Luke also won a ton of reps at the point attack as that length was just overpowering to the bulk of those offensive linemen in attendance. He also was more persistent with his pad-level than I expected him to be at his size with a solid bend at the line. His tape shows off mostly defensive line, but man do I love this kid's upside on the offensive line based on what I saw in Jamestown. The Jimmies were a first offer for a lot prospects at camp, including Luke Johnston out of the Sacramento area.

Wade Johnston, OL/DL, Jesuit, CA 2025 Twitter

Next up, is Luke's twin brother Wade who was another standout in my notebook up in Jamestown a few weeks back. Wade was an OL prospect that once he gets his hands on you, he controls the driving leverage with ease, as I also was impressed with how balanced his footwork was for his size. Wade also intrigued me in Jamestown with how fast he able to get his hands set after his first step as even with reactive hand speed he constantly was able to get great pad level in my eyes. He also is a smoother angle blocker on tape, which also was a skillset that flashed for Wade at the Jamestown Jimmies prospect camp. The 6'3 250 pounder from Jesuit, is another Johnston brother that I feel is well under the radar out of California.
