ORLANDO – From 7:45 on Thursday morning when first year program Orlando Innovation stepped up to the microphone to Saturday evening at 4:00 when Palm Bayside closed things out, the Florida Citrus Sports High School Media Days was a major success.

With nine counties and 108 teams taking part in this unique pre-season event, players, coaches and parents left Camping World Stadium over the three days with a smile on their face and memories to share for a lifetime.

One of the largest collective media events in the nation brought in recruiting services, media members from throughout the state and in a few areas of the country.

“I am bowled over by all the work everyone put in to make this so special,” said organizer Dan LaForest. “There wasn't one person or team that didn't come up to us over three days to say thank you and let us know what a first-class event we hosted. I am still shaking my head how smooth everything went. We are already planning next year's media event that will only get better!”
