<p><strong>ORLANDO – </strong>A day after 42 Orange and Osceola County high school football players headed to Camping World Stadium, 37 more attended Day 2 of the <strong><em>Florida Citrus Sports High School Media Day</em></strong>.</p>

<p>For the third year, this event has been by far the best – with Day 3 coming up Saturday – with Polk and Brevard Counties finishing off what has been one of the best exposure events of its kind anywhere in the nation.</p>

<p>“What we are doing is really unheard of,” said organizer <strong>Dan LaForest</strong>. “Nearly 100 schools in the three days with local, regional and national media coming to help spotlight some of the nation's best football prospects.”</p>

<p>LaForest has been responsible for kick starting media events throughout the state, and now with just about every corner covered, people from around the world had the chance to watch every team live with streaming and announcers who interview every player and every coach.</p>

<p>On Friday, it was all about Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Polk, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia Counties getting a chance to create memories that will last a lifetime.</p>

<p>Among the programs taking part were <strong>Cocoa Space Coast </strong>(Coach Jacob Owens) from Brevard County, <strong>Palm Coast Matanzas</strong> (Coach Matt Forrest) Flagler County, <strong>Clermont East Ridge</strong> (Coach Donnie Burchfield), <strong>Eustis</strong> (Coach Joe Burnett), <strong>Lake Minneola</strong> (Coach Mike McGlynn), Leesburg (Coach Frank Scott), <strong>Mount Dora</strong> (Coach Luke Hutchinson), <strong>Mount Dora Christian</strong> (Coach Kolby Tackett), <strong>Tavares</strong> (Coach Gavin Jones and Athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1266680' first='Izayia' last='Williams']) and <strong>Umatilla (</strong>Coach Eric Samuels) from Lake County, Ocala Vanguard (Coach Ed Farmer) out of Marion County and <strong>Haines City</strong> (Coach Pat Herrington) from Polk County.</p>
