He is a true deep threat downfield with outstanding ball skills and tracking abilities over the top while extremely physical with the ball in his hands after the catch and can make defenders miss in open space. He is a natural ball carrier that does not shy away from contact and can line up both in the slot or on the outside and is a very smooth route runner. Teixeira is a diverse route runner that can win on both in-breaking and outbreaking routes, while showing very strong hands and is willing to go up and win on 50/50 balls. He has elite length and downfield long speed for the position while showing he excels at making contested catch and high pointing the ball with ease. He is a long strider that covers a ton of ground off the ball and can really stretch the field while able to get off press coverage and shows good physicality at the line of scrimmage against corners and safeties. He has excellent hands and tracks the ball well when making off platform catches. Jones also shows tremendous body control while in the air and can make contested catches look easy. He is a long outside receiver that wins with good physicality and use of hands off the ball against press coverage and can really stretch the field with plus downfield speed and a huge catch radius to haul in difficult passes. He shows he can both get vertical and settle underneath while a very smart route runner against zone coverage but also dangerous in one on one situations as he can get in corners blind spots and win with a third level gear.
