As the high school football off-season brings about college camps and other skills position events, Southeastern University hosted a padded OL/DL camp on their nice home field campus. Prep Redzone scout Drew Johnson was in attendance to highlight some of the notable prospects and top performers at the event.

Naseem Broom | OL | 2025 | Plant City | @Naseem_Broom

The Plant City High offensive line product came with a mission on Tuesday night to gain some exposure and get some work in with SEU coaches and peers. He finished the camp with an offer and MVP award after showing off great technique in drills and the 1v1 period. Broom is an under the radar prospect with good size at 6-1, 270 to take a look at college coaches.

Marc Michel | OL | 2025 | Ridge | @Marc_Michel55

One of my top performers at the padded camp was no doubt rising 2025 senior OL Marc Michel. This kid has been nothing but loyal to his high school and his determined effort to develop is beginning to pay off. He earned an offer recently from SEU and was there to show coaches he has the size and skill to play at the next level. Good frame and strength at 6-3, 275-pounds but the hand work and technique is what stood out.

Omar Perez | OL | 2025 | St. Cloud | @omarp8382

Perez had some of the better footwork technique and understanding when to use his hands on the punch. It was the brute strength and ability to take out rushers which landed him as one of my top OL performers. Decent frame at 6-1, 260-pounds and came away impressed with his ability to work in the 1v1 session. For sure has potential to play at the college level.

Josh Sluder | OL | 2025 | Pensacola Catholic | @JoshSluder07

Sluder made his way down from Pensacola to get some work in and compete before the fall season. The rising senior was close to being my top guard prospect at the event because of his experience and understanding of the position going through drills and he turned it up even more in the competitive period. Stout frame for Sluder at 6-0, 285-pounds but moved well and used his hands/strength to his advantage.

Devon Mccue | OL | 2025 | Lakeland | @DevonMcCue51936

Got my eyes on the new offensive line piece for the Dreadnaughts as Mccue looked really solid throughout different camp drills. Solid size at 6-3, 285-pounds and a high IQ as he was coaching some of the younger linemen on technique and alignments. Look out for some interest at this college level to come around for Mccue.

Matthew Garman | OL | 2025 | Ridge | @MatthewG7234

This kid had to have the larger frames at the tackle position with a 6-6, 275-pound listing. Garman is another under the radar type kid with good size, technique, and want that you just can't coach. If Garman can tweak his frame and get some extra work in before putting his senior season on film, I think he can fill out and really push for some college offers.
