Stroud has had a fascinating career to watch play out. He’s as explosive and versatile as anyone in the state. He’s got elite speed which allows him to get behind the defense regularly. Last season, he had a big breakout year putting up 66 catches for 950 yards and 6 TDs. Add in his 97-yard kickoff that he returned for a TD and you can see why he’s a guy who can add value anywhere on the field.
Orona is a lengthy speedy wide receiver who has begun to make an impact at the Varsity level. He has great speed and can squeeze through creases that you wouldn’t expect him to. He accelerates quickly and has no issue stopping and starting. He’s a bit raw in the route tree category, but he’s got great athletic traits and has all the makings of a guy who can develop into a fantastic WR on Saturdays.
Highlights
Williams broke onto the scene last year and showed quite a bit of potential in the small sample size we got. He’s explosive, twitchy, and can make defenders miss in a phone booth. He’s unwilling to go down easy and fights for extra yardage where he can. His frame is well built for his age and should continue to fill out. I’d expect a big season from Williams this year being the older guy in the room with some experience.
Highlights
Soon to be one of the higher risers in the state at the WR position, Holubar has all the makings of a guy who can be a star at the next level. He’s got a fantastic build standing at 6’2″ and 180lbs of muscle. He’s in the weight room and it shows. Last season he put up 39 receptions for 744 yards and 6 TDs. While his QB is gone, Holubar has shown enough and has more than enough talent to thrive with a new QB at the helm and this fall will be a good opportunity to showcase that.
