A showcase event that features hundreds of college coaches from 50+ schools there to get eyes on 200+ prospects. I was there on the field the whole day and below are some of the RB and TE prospects that had standout performances that day.
Ian is a well put together RB at 5’11” 192lbs. and runs a 4.5 forty, so he is the whole package. During the showcased he showed quick choppy feet and fluid hips with some good twitch during drill work. A downhill one cut runner, Ian will hit the hole and is capable of breaking a big run at any time. A nice combo of speed & power when he carries the ball. He can make you miss in space with subtle movements to create space; as well as break through arm tackles, keeping his legs churning, and fighting for extra yardage. A threat in the passing game as well, Ian is a more than serviceable receiver out the backfield and can line up in the slot as well. Overall, Ian is a versatile hard running RB with nice speed that should have some offers by this point. An FCS level back in my mind and he showed it at the NP Showcase that day.
One of the top RBs in the state this past season Tyler is a well slapped together RB, good muscle and measured a 74 1/2″ wingspan. Tyler is bulldozer of a back even at his size, he runs behind his pads with good balance and vision. He does not go down easy and fights for yards. Has the speed to break through to the second level and take it the distance. Womack shows good wiggle and burst through the hole which he demonstrated during bag drills in the camp. He is quick to accelerate and can stick his foot in the ground to quickly change direction and create space for himself. Tyler already holds 2 FBS Offers and I expect him to have a huge season once again this fall and get the interest of many more schools.

Amir came into the camp having filled out real nicely since seeing him back early in the fall. A thick frame build that will continue to add nice muscle. Amir has nice lateral movement, being able to quickly shift his weight and then burst out of cuts. He hits the hole going full speed and is a home run threat every time he touches the ball. With fluid hips, he slips by defenders and is able to run between the tackles or bounce it out wide. Amir is also very effective in the KR return game and I see him becoming a nice option in the pass game as well as he continues to develop his hands. Already holding 1 FCS offer after the spring, would not surprise me if more come calling after some good early senior season film.
Sam is a player I have watched many times over the year as he was at Loyola HS (MD) and has recently just transferred down to IMG. He measured in at 6’4″ 234 and an impressive 78 1/2″ wingspan. During the showcase he demonstrated soft hands and catches the ball away from his body. I’m not sure I saw him lose any of his 1v1 reps where he was thrown a catchable pass. He can play inline, flexed out or in the H-back role, and is a willing blocker so he has versatility as a TE prospect to fit into almost any offense. Sam also showed good route running ability on the day. Was light on his feet, made crisp cuts and showed ability to get a good release off the LOS. Sam holds a few D2/D3 offers and like him as an FCS level TE at the very least, especially being a high academic kid with a 4.15 GPA & 1320 SAT score. will be interesting to see how he does down at IMG this fall and should garner some nice attention from colleges if he keeps putting on the performances I’ve seen from him.

Joe Nisson
Joey measured very nicely at the camp, coming in at 6’4″ 220 and a 80 3/4″ wingspan. That is some great length to go along with a good frame the will fill out well. What I really liked out of Joe from watching him at the NP Showcase was his catch radius. With that length and being a nice leaper, he goes up and gets everything. Can go across the middle and make a tough grab as well as being a big threat in the red zone. Joey has a lot of upside as a TE prospect. Want to see him continue to fill out that frame and lower the concentration drops, but he has a lot of potential to develop into a big flex TE. A high academic prospect as well, which shows as he recently just picked up his first offer from Bucknell. Looking forward to seeing more of Joe this fall as I think he will have a big season.
