Film Review: Hidden Gems In The 2025 Class

Jack Gautsch Jack Gautsch 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB/LB Bermudian Springs | 2025 State PA is a good athlete who plays football for Bermudian Springs. He played as both a wide receiver and a defensive back. At wide receiver, he does a great job of making difficult catches. Anything thrown in his direction he will catch. He is equally good at catching the ball and making a big play out of nothing. He is outstanding after the cath the way he uses his speed and makes moves to avoid defenders. He is highly skilled at defensive back in coverage and making tackles in the open field. Gautsch is a talented prospect in the 2025 class.

Anthony Rodriguez Anthony Rodriguez 5'8" | 150 lbs | RB PA played as a safety for Perkioman Valley. He has some of the best film I have seen from a safety in a while. He does a great job at covering slot receivers. He can run receivers and then break on the ball when the ball is thrown towards the receivers. He has great instincts in coverage. He then does a good job of intercepting passes thrown at him. Rodriguez has all the tools of an elite safety.

AJ Halford is a legit linebacker for Minersville. In his film, he shows that he knows how to read the offense and then come upfield to make plays. He does an excellent job of reading his keys and then triggering downhill. He is especially good against the run inside the box. If anything gets run in between the tackles against Halford he shuts it down. He is also a good tackler, and the offensive players feel him as a tackler. Halford is a good linebacker.

Nolan Pounds Nolan Pounds 6'0" | 160 lbs | QB Wissahickon | 2025 State PA is a consistent quarterback for Wissahickon. He is equally as good in the pocket as he is outside the pocket. Inside the pocket, he does a good job of setting his feet and throwing the ball. He throws a great ball, especially on deep ball. Outside the pocket, he is good at scrambling around and making a play. He is good at designed pass plays where he has to sprint outside and find an open receiver. He is a naturally fluid athlete and displays a good ability at throwing on the run. Pounds is an excellent prospect at the quarterback position.

Leo Dauberman Leo Dauberman 5'11" | 185 lbs | WR/DB Parkland | 2025 State PA is an elite athlete who plays as a wide receiver and as a defensive back for Parkland. At wide receiver, he has elite skills. He has the speed to run by defenders. He is really good on pass plays like slip screens where he can make defenders miss in space. After the catch he makes defenders miss in space. He also is good on difficult catches. Anything thrown in his direction he can catch. At defensive back, he shows good coverage skills. Dauberman is a good player in the 2025 class.

Leyden Hertz Leyden Hertz 6'2" | 180 lbs | ATH Schuylkill Haven | 2025 State PA is a good prospect as an athlete for Schuylkill Haven. He plays as both a wide receiver and as a defensive back. As a wide receiver, he is a classic outside wide receiver. He runs excellent routes and catches almost everything thrown in his direction. He has great size (6'2 inches tall) and uses his size well to catch the ball. He is good on contested catches where he catches the ball over defenders. At defensive back, he does an excellent job in coverage. He does a good job of reading the quarterback's eyes and making a play on the ball. Hertz has all the tools of an elite player.

Joey Hebling Joey Hebling 6'0" | 160 lbs | WR/DB William Tennent | 2025 State PA is a good defensive back prospect in the 2025 class for William Tennett. He is a good cover cornerback. He is equally as good in zone coverage as he is in man-to-man coverage. In both coverages, he does a good job of getting his hands on receivers and covering them. Hebling is also a good tackler, especially in the open field. Hebling is a good prospect.
