2025 Rankings: Wide Receiver Stock Risers

Tracks ball especially well on the skinny post. Hesitation on routes.&nbsp; Toughness was shown through blocking downfield as he really gets after it.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='359605' first='Dyllan' last='Malone'] (Yorkville – 6'1” 155)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previous Ranking: WL<br>Current Ranking: #88</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Malone is a fluid receiver that has really long arms.&nbsp; Scores long TDs on go routes and bubble screens equally well.&nbsp; Tracks on the deep ball with his long strides.&nbsp; Gets in and out of cuts well and has an easy release off the line.&nbsp; Fluid route runner that is adept at out routes finding the sticks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1292114' first='KJ' last='Rhodes'] (Willowbrook – 5'8” 120)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previous Ranking: NR<br>Current Ranking: #103</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During his junior season Rhodes had 85 catches for 12 touchdowns and 1542 yards. He is a smaller slot guy at 5'8" that is such a smooth route runner and has elite speed.&nbsp; Blows past defenders on the deep ball.&nbsp; Takes bubble screens for TDs. Gets in and out of cuts with precision.&nbsp; He is a YAC machine scoring long TDs over and over.&nbsp; Good hands catching and accelerating at the same time.&nbsp; Also has punt return ability.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1292129' first='Mar'Quan' last='Gary'] (Normal Community – 6'1” 175)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previous Ranking: NR<br>Current Ranking: #117</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past season the Normal Community pass catcher racked up 891 yards and an insane 18 TDs!&nbsp; His tape jumped off the screen!&nbsp; Elite burst with the ball after catch and is a YAC MACHINE!&nbsp; Takes short routes and turns them into long touchdowns.&nbsp; Tracks the ball in the air and adjusts well.&nbsp; In the endzone he can high point and out jump the DB.&nbsp; Very impressive!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1167684' first='Dayvion' last='Ellis'] (St. Viator – 6'0” 175)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Previous Ranking: NR<br>Current Ranking: #139<br><br>Impressive tape from Ellis who racked up 1503 all purpose yards and 12 touchdowns this past season. Consistently blows past man on post route. Scores a TON of long touchdowns. Really runs and has good hands tracking. Catches deep balls and extends after the catch for TDs.&nbsp; Such an easy acceleration on his routes and is very good at catching the ball over his shoulder.
