In this article, I cover some lower ranked prospects that you should know. We were very impressed with the amount of quality players in the class of 2025 and I want to make sure these names do not go unnoticed.
I have mentioned Demetrius before, but I want to mention him again. He is a key piece to Blue Ridge’s defense, and he is versatile across the field. While we have him ranked as an LB, I believe his speed would allow him to be in a hybrid S/LB role at the next level. His film jumps out to you as you see his speed, explosiveness, and strength. He has yet to receive an offer and coaches need to take notice of his game.

Brooke Point’s QB has been on Carl and I’s radar and you can read what Carl previously wrote about him here. If you are looking for a competitor at QB, look no further as he has the confidence and mentality you want at the position. He can play in the pocket but has the mobility to evade the pass rush and move outside of the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield to make a throw where he displays good arm strength and accuracy on his throws. Be sure to keep an eye on him this fall as he leads Brooke Point.

Owen is another player that I really like. I have previously featured him in an article that you can read here. He is stout against the run and has the athleticism to use speed to pass rush on the inside. I believe he has the ability to play multiple positions across the defensive line due to his combination of strength and athleticism at his size. He has received his first offer from Grinnell College and I expect more to come.
Zarius displays solid athletic ability with solid hip fluidity, change of direction, and foot speed. Plays best in soft and off-coverage as a corner, showing solid backpedal allowing him to match the WR in his initial release. Solid processing and understanding of WR route concepts. Solid ability to turn and match a deep route with tight man coverage. Solid hand speed to engage WR and transition into trail position. Looks to quickly make a tackle when a WR catches the ball. He is a willing player in run support showing the ability to disengage blocks and make an open-field tackle.

I mentioned Peyton in one of my early articles when I began with Prep Redzone and I am still a fan of his game. He is versatile playing WR and Safety/LB on defense and is listed at 5’9”, 170 lbs. on Twitter/X. As a WR, he shows the ability to change his speed in his route stems to confuse a DB. Shows good hands and runs with good elusiveness but has some run strength too. He has no issue playing physical to gain extra yards. On defense, he shows the ability to process route schemes while in Zone coverage and displays good ball skills. He can be sent on a blitz and make an open-field tackle. Shows ability in special teams and should be able to contribute in this phase early at the next level. He has an offer from Grinnell College and more will likely come.
