After breaking down some impactful 2026s, here’s my list of some stockrising 2025s in Kentucky to keep an eye on this upcoming fall.
In the first place spot on my list is Amarein Atkinson Amarein Atkinson 6’0″ | 205 lbs | LB Ballard | 2025 State KY , a linebacker at Ballard High School. What impresses me about Atkinson is his ability to disrupt the passing game and apply heavy pressure on the quarterback, proving his defensive stopping power. I also like how Atkinson can pick up speed off the snap, breach the pocket and quickly take down the gunslinger.
I am additionally impressed with Ethan Baker Ethan Baker 6’2″ | 250 lbs | DL Paintsville | 2025 KY , a defensive lineman at Paintsville High School. Baker stands out with his ability to read the offense like a book and shut down the running back in the pocket. Baker also showcased his strength and ability to force turnovers with his overwhelming physicality. I also like how Baker can protect the backfield and stop offensive production from along the edge.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Braidin Baughman Braidin Baughman 5’9″ | 170 lbs | ATH Mercer County | 2025 State KY , an athlete at Mercer County High School. What makes Baughman so explosive is his durable edge in the pocket, showing off his ability to shake tackles and blast into the open field off the quick handoff. Baughman also makes a difference with his ability to haul in the short pass from along the edge and get the offense into scoring range.

Another skilled prospect to watch for is Miller Brown Miller Brown 5’11” | 170 lbs | ATH Oldham County | 2025 KY , an athlete at Oldham County High School. What makes Brown so dangerous defensively is his versatility and ability to read the long pass, showing off his ability to haul in the interception. I also like Brown’s ability to protect the backfield, using his electric speed and wingspan to quickly take down the offense and swat the ball out of the air.
Highlights
Coming in at number five on my list is Lincoln Acree Lincoln Acree 5’11” | 155 lbs | WR Graves County | 2025 KY , a wide receiver at Graves County High School. Acree makes a considerable difference due to his ability to maneuver the field and juke out the defense on his way to the house. I also like Acree’s physicality in coverage, proving he can utilize his wing span to shut down the defense and get wide open for the deep pass.
