PRZ Next Combine Texas: 2028 Offensive Standouts 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Texas boys came out deep for the Prep Redzone Combine series held at the beautiful facilities in Nolan Catholic High School. I can honestly say there were some DOGS in Ft. Worth this weekend and they came from all over the state. When I first approached him after running a solid 40 I asked what position he played. My ignorance got the best of me thinking he was going to tell me defensive end, my guy is 6'3 260, you can't blame me for the assumption. He replied that he plays Center...That's right...CENTER! Right then I knew that I was looking at what could be one of the best OL prospects in Texas at this age. I harp on this a lot in my evals, but MacDonald has great feet. He keeps a great base and uses his hands well. This dude can spin it. He showed off his arm hitting an array of throws throughout the camp. He has a great touch on his deep ball, but Griffin put it on a rope as well. He has the ability to rifle the ball into windows that some others at this age simply can't. Although his touch throws are just as precise. He did well in his footwork and roll out drills this Saturday also. He has all of the earmarks of a very good wide out. Ramirez took advantage of the defensive backs leverages to create space. He also utilized his speed to make the DB turn his hips while Ramirez broke back to the ball on a stick route. He sits his hips down and pumps his arms through the break very well. He can definitely lock up at defensive back, but for this write up I am going off of what I saw him do at the receiver position. Jones ran the whole route tree it seemed like. A lot of athletes at camp only want to run 7, 8 and 9 routes. Brian, on the other hand, was hitting short and intermediate routes and running them crisp. Obviously he showed his speed and took the top off as well.
