Who are they?
Prep Redzone takes a look…
Heze Kent Heze Kent 6'6" | 245 lbs | TE Brunswick | 2026 State GA – TE – Brunswick
It’s easy to see why Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns extended a big offer to this outstanding jumbo athlete out of Southeast Georgia. A tremendous athlete who runs like a deer at 6-foot-6 245-pounds. Whether he ends up at tight end or defensive end at the next level, Kent will be a problem for whoever is lined up against them. Offensively, he’s a guy who runs through tackles with ease, but his soft hands down the field make him a mismatch for smaller defenders in coverage. He’s also a sound, physical blocker in the run game. He’s physically imposing and a natural player on the field. He’s one of the very best 2026 prospects not only in South Georgia, but across the state, being ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 7 overall prospect in the state. Kent caught 17 passes as a sophomore last year for 394 yards and three touchdowns.
Xavier Griffin Xavier Griffin 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Gainesville | 2026 FL – EDGE – Gainesville
The Rebels are in desperate need of pass-rushers for the future, and Griffin is one of the very best not only in Georgia, but across the South and possibly the country for the 2026 class. He has a lean 6-foot-4 220-pound frame and explodes into the backfield off the snap. He’s strong enough to throw opposing offensive linemen off balance so he can attack and run down the ball-carrier. A promising pass-rusher due to his quickness and elite first step, Griffin bends and gets around the edge with ease and it led to a giant sophomore season last year where he made 52 tackles, 20 TFLs, nine sacks, and two forced fumbles. He’s a game-wrecker with 5-star potential, and he’s currently ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 9 overall prospect in the state for the 2026 class.
Xavier Tiller Xavier Tiller 6'4" | 210 lbs | TE Langston Hughes | 2026 State GA – Langston Hughes
An outstanding pass-catching tight end who runs extremely well at 6-foot-5 220-pounds, Tiller is a dangerous runner after the catch who can power through would-be tackles as well as any tight end across the state. His size, ball skills, and ability to out-run defenders at his size makes him one of the fastest-rising tight end prospects across the country. He’s still raw, but the physical tools and natural ball skills are easy to see. He already has a giant offer list, and now the Atlanta native out of Langston Hughes holds a new SEC offer from the Ole Miss Rebels. He’s a giant target in the middle of the field with the ability to pick up big yards after the catch. He’s currently ranked as the No. 14 overall prospect in Georgia according to Prep Redzone. As a sophomore last year, Tiller caught 25 passes for 352 yards and seven touchdowns.
