The seniors weren’t the only Eagles chipping into the title efforts, as the junior took third place in the Class 1A shot put (48-06.75).

The Eagles picked up another third-place finish from their sophomore pole-vaulter (10-11.00).

Jones won the 100-meter dash (10.59), finished fourth in the 200-meter (22.18) and anchored the winning 4×200-meter relay (1:28.93).

The LSU-committed running back finished second in the 200-meter dash (21.80) and anchored his Saints’ third-place 4×100-meter relay (43.88).

The sophomore interior lineman won the Class 1A discus (147-03.25) and finished second in the shot put (50-00.75)
Tayven Carter — 5-11, 150 ATH — Delhi Charter (2027)
The Gators’ freshman won the triple jump (46-00.00) and finished fourth in the long jump (21-11.75) and led off the sixth-place 4×100-meter relay (44.66) to help lead his school’s scoring, as well as leading off a seventh-place 4×200-meter relay (1:32.70).
Travis Bolden Jr. — 5-7, 130 DB — Hamilton Christian (22-01.00)
Third in long jump (22-01.00) and led off the winning 4×100-meter(43.41) and 4×400-meter (3:27.11) relays.
John Andrew Uze — 5-10, 175 LB — Hanson Memorial (2024)
The senior won the pole vault (11-05.00) title and led off the fifth-place 4×100-meter relay (44.41).
Manny Bejaran — 6-1, 225 OL — St. Martin’s (2024)
The Saints’ all-metro football player finished second in both the discus (140-09.75) and javelin (178-05.75) throws.
