At 6’1, 190 there is no denying that Jaxson Fields Jaxson Fields 6’1″ | 190 lbs | DB Summer Creek Highschool | 2026 TX passes the eye test. This Summer Creek sophomore works tirelessly on his craft and it shows on his film. the Holy Trinity for defensive players is hips, hands and feet. Fields hit the trifecta. He understands his body well and uses his fluid movement to show his ball-hawking skills. He doesn’t just sit back in coverage either, Jaxson will bring the hat on ball carriers as well. He can come up and play in the box and can drop back and play in space. He’ll have a great junior season this year, remember the name.

Chase Grandy Chase Grandy 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Wylie | 2027 TX
Grandy’s ability to get in and out a breaks and natural game instincts are his most impressive traits. This freshman is a good size at 5’10, 165. His exceptional bend and clean breaks allow him to consistently position himself to make plays on the ball, including interceptions and pbu’s. Also, the Wylie Pirate’s strong footwork enables him to stay on top of receivers, regardless of route combination, and match them step-for-step. Chase excels at driving on the football and making tackles, he uses the sideline as the 12th defender and leverages that advantage. He should have a great sophomore season, definitely someone to keep an eye on.

Lott has plenty of upside to his game, the Red Oak DB got a lot of work this 7v7 season against some great competition with his True Buzz teammates . His movement skills, twitch, and shiftiness definitely translate well because of this, and I believe that the way he changes direction, gets in and out of his pedals, and cover technique is largely due to his understanding of both sides of the football. Christopher plays a very natural, and smooth style of ball, as he bends well, and uses his hands, footwork, and speed to do the hard work for him. In coverage, he puts his body in good position to make plays. Junior year should be a good one.

Anthony Adkins
Anthony Adkins
Anthony is a very versatile defensive back. This fast and twitchy athlete excels in both short and long yardage situations. His exceptional footwork and body control are evident in his hip flips, breaks, and ability to mirror movement with minimal wasted motion. Adkins further utilizes his hands and body positioning to outmaneuver opponents, putting himself in prime positions to make game-changing plays. This athlete is going to have a great junior season.

Grant Reser
Grant Reser
Reser is a talented DB out of Mansfield Legacy. His film was solid, and had a good junior year showing with 19 tackles, 2 pbu’s, 2 ff. The metric that stuck out the most was ZERO td’s scored on this young man while he was on the field. He displays exceptional quickness and explosiveness, executes sharp breaks, transitions well during directional changes, and exhibits good hip movement. Grant has good size at 6’1, 175. We’ll see what his summer workouts bring to the field in his senior season.
