With new talent emerging and established players stepping up their game, there are plenty of notable stock risers who deserve recognition. These athletes have put in the work and have seen an uptick in offers/interest. Let’s take a closer look at some top performers ready to shine this season.
James Little IV James Little IV 5'11" | 165 lbs | DB Lehigh | 2025 State FL | DB | 2025 | Bishop Verot | @james_little_iv
Little will be competing with Bishop Verot for his senior season after an off-season move. It’s time to show college coaches he’s a playmaker at the defensive back position with one more season to add weight to his frame and go to the lab with his technique. At 6-0, 165-pounds, it’s crucial for Little to get it done in the weight room during the spring session. The three-star was recently offered by Eastern Michigan.
Joeseph Skipworth Joeseph Skipworth 6'5" | 210 lbs | TE Pace | 2025 FL | 2025 | TE | Pace | @JoesephSkipwor1
At 6-5, 205-pounds, college coaches are starting to catch on as Skipworth is a developing tight-end prospect that brings a lot of positives for an offense. It’s the solid size with sure hands and a growing catch radius that has coaches interested but combining that with the ability to add a blocking component has Cincinnati and Boston College as the latest offers. Keep an eye on his overall progression and recruitment heading into spring.
CJ Nettles | RB | 2025 | Pensacola Catholic | @CJNettles5
Nettles was second on the team a season ago finishing with 139 rushes for 852 yards and 10 TDs. That’s a solid season for the rising junior who has the chance to work on his overall game during the offseason. He’s part of a 1-2 punch at the running back position that Pensacola Catholic will roll out for another season with two star juniors toting the rock. No matter the size, this kid is a DOG that’s continuing to improve his chances at the next level.
Traveon Townsend Traveon Townsend 5'9" | 140 lbs | DB FL | ATH | 2026 | Westwood | @TraveonTownsend
This kid is an incredible athlete that I had to add to the list. He’s only developed since first getting eyes on him a year ago during a 7v7 tournament. He’s shown off a good frame already combined with solid speed and explosive athleticism. I will provide more updates on his overall game after the spring and college camp period. The relative of UCF’s standout rising WR Xavier Townsend.
Colton Foster Colton Foster 6'4" | 200 lbs | WR Fort Pierce Westwood | 2025 State FL | WR | 2025 | Fort Pierce | @colt_foster13
This kid has to be one of the more under-the-radar wide receiver prospects with a 6-4, 195-pound frame. He recorded 15 receptions for 309 yards and 6 TDs a season ago. He’s received recent college offers from the likes of Georgia Southern, Coastal Carolina, Tulane, and Liberty. Keep an eye on his progression as we head into spring ball.
Cale Austin Cale Austin 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Community School of Naples | 2026 FL | QB | 2026 | Community School of Naples | @caleaustinqb
A premier 2026 QB in the area deserves some recognition for his play last season and notable off-season gains. Austin threw for nearly 1800 yards with 14 TD passes to add during his sophomore season and is looking to take the next step at the position. Decent frame at 6-1, 180-pounds but the work ethic, mechanics, and natural arm talent can separate him from his peers.
