In this article, we are going to highlight several prospects making recruiting headlines this week. It was another busy week in the state of Arkansas from a recruiting perspective.
Cash Farris Cash Farris 6'0" | 185 lbs | DB Alma | 2025 State AR -Defensive Back-Alma-2025
The Alma safety is a player that is always around the ball carrier. Farris is able to fend off blocks and be a factor in defending the run as well as the pass. He does an impressive job of being able to separate the ball from the ball carrier. Farris is not afraid to deliver a hit and stop the opposing wide receiver in his tracks. Farris has earned an invitation to Incarnate Word’s camps in a few weeks. Farris is a safety to watch out for over the next few months for the Airedales.
Michael Hayes Michael Hayes 5'10" | 155 lbs | DB Joe T. Robinson | 2025 State AR -Defensive Back-Joe T. Robinson-2025
Michael Hayes Michael Hayes 5'10" | 155 lbs | DB Joe T. Robinson | 2025 State AR is one of the most talented defensive backs in the class of 2025. Hayes uses his speed well to stick with opposing wide receivers. He reads the quarterback well and can bait the opposing signal caller into getting careless with the football. Hayes does not shy away from contact and is a cornerback that can separate the ball from the ball carrier. The Robinson defensive back is spending the weekend visiting the University of Central Arkansas. I expect him to have a strong senior season in 2024.
Keagan Sanderson Keagan Sanderson 5'9" | 195 lbs | DL Salem | 2026 AR -Defensive Line-Salem-2026
The Salem defensive lineman does a great job of using his speed to get into the opposing offensive backfield. Sanderson defeats blocks and can disrupt both the run and the passing attacks of the opposing offense. He pursues the ball carrier well and does not quit on the play. Sanderson is a defensive lineman that will constantly pressure the opposing quarterback unless the offensive line accounts for him. Sanderson earned an invitation to the Harding University football camps taking place in a few weeks.
Jeremy Dent Jeremy Dent 5'8" | 140 lbs | ATH Marion | 2026 AR -Wide Receiver-Marion-2026
The Marion wide receiver is a versatile prospect that sees playing time on both sides of the ball for the Patriots. From the offensive side of the ball, Dent is a smooth route runner that can create separation using a mixture of his routes and speed. He does a nice job of catching the football and making plays in the open field. Dent spent Saturday visiting Fayetteville. He was able to watch the Arkansas Razorbacks practice on Saturday morning. Dent is a prospect to watch out for over the next few seasons.
Zimran Phelix Zimran Phelix 6'2" | 195 lbs | LB Marion | 2026 State AR -Linebacker-Marion-2026
Zimran Phelix Zimran Phelix 6'2" | 195 lbs | LB Marion | 2026 State AR is a linebacker that is constantly working and honing his craft. He has impressive speed and does a nice job of dropping back into pass coverages for Marion. Phelix wraps up the ball carrier on tackles. Meanwhile, he is a player that can rush the passer and he will defeat blocks to get to the quarterback. Phelix earned an invitation to attend the junior day activities at Texas A&M Commerce in the next few weeks. He is a player to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.
