Check out these four incoming seniors from the PRZNE 2025 rankings. These guys are flying under the radar at the moment, but I think that is all soon to change as the offseason starts to heat up with camps and showcases.
Jacian Brown Jacian Brown 5'11" | 155 lbs | ATH Lincoln East | 2025 State NE | ATH | Lincoln East | 5’11” 170 lbs
This is a sneaky good addition for the Spartans. Incoming senior Jacian Brown Jacian Brown 5'11" | 155 lbs | ATH Lincoln East | 2025 State NE , who is transferring over from Lincoln Northeast, adds a ton of value as a two-way playmaker at receiver and defensive back. At receiver, Jacian is an absolute killer in the slot, where he can use his quickness and sharp route running to leave defenders on skates. He does an excellent job creating separation and is a very reliable target over the middle of the field. Brown also displays the ability to take short passes for big gains with his explosive burst after the catch and toughness to fight through tackles for extra yardage. One aspect of Jacian’s game that seems to fly under the radar is his football IQ. Jacian does a great job picking up on what offenses are trying to do while quickly switching/adjusting his coverage and communicating to teammates as soon as he sees it. Good closing speed and sharp reaction time to the ball. Dude can flat-out ball!
Hayden Atkins Hayden Atkins 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Grand Island Northwest | 2025 State NE | LB | Grand Island Northwest | 6’3″ 210 lbs
If you’re looking for a throwback thumper at linebacker, Grand Island Northwest’s Hayden Atkins Hayden Atkins 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Grand Island Northwest | 2025 State NE is your guy. Hayden is a smart, rangy inside linebacker who seems to consistently be in the right place at the right time. Hayden finished as the Viking’s team leader in tackles with 76 tackles, 2 TFLs, and a forced fumble. He does an excellent job focusing his eyes on the ball and keeping his feet moving before exploding downfield to take a crack at the ball carrier. Atkins is very aware of his keys and is sound at playing his gaps. He’s a well-built prospect with a sturdy, strong 6’3″ and 210-pound frame. Hayden shows good technique and consistency when tackling and has a strong base to keep himself from getting pushed back. Physical at the point of attack, non-stop motor, and sideline-to-sideline range… offer this guy sooner rather than later!
Dalonte Dixon Dalonte Dixon 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Millard South | 2025 State NE | DB/ATH | Omaha Westside | 6’1″ 180 lbs
Millard South transfer Dalonte Dixon Dalonte Dixon 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Millard South | 2025 State NE will be an interesting player to watch this fall as he could play himself into a starting role with the Warriors. Dalonte has been impressive at the events I’ve seen him at this off-season. Dixon had some great reps in 1v1s at the Warren Academy showcase, where he did an excellent job mirroring some top receivers in the area. He looked smooth in coverage with quick feet and loose hips that allowed him to drop and change direction on a dime. Dalonte also plays with a mean edge to his game and shows that he isn’t afraid to get physical with receivers at the line or when the ball is up in the air.
DaVarius Bell DaVarius Bell 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Fremont | 2025 State NE | RB | Fremont | 5’10” 180 lbs
Although the tape sample size was limited, there was still a lot to like about Fremont running back DaVarius Bell DaVarius Bell 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Fremont | 2025 State NE . Davarius finished second on the team in rushing with 355 yards and four rushing touchdowns. Davarius isn’t the biggest back out there, but his ability to keep his pads low and strong leg drive make him a tough player to bring down. Bell has no hesitation when it comes to lowering the shoulder and bringing the hammer down on defenders. Davarius isn’t super shifty, but he does exhibit a nice punch when he’s able to round the corner and see the open field. Bell also proved to be an asset as a receiving back, having tallied 5 receptions for 103 yards and a receiving touchdown. Look forward to seeing more of Davarius!
