In Missouri, the class of 2028 will arrive shortly, and I am here to fill you in on the guys you need to keep an eye on. These prospects have been making noise, and receiving recognition for their stellar play this offseason. Multiple guys are being invited to camps and catching the eyes of college coaches. Here are just a few guys that should be on your radar.
Jeremiah Hull
Jeremiah Hull
Hull has burst onto the scene recently, showing up and showing out at multiple 7-on-7 events in and around Missouri. His combination of height, length, and strength makes him a very intriguing prospect. Standing around 6-foot-3, Hull has shown the ability to go up and make plays over defenders. While his size is what initially catches your attention, he also flashes his quickness and body control. Picking up multiple invites to future camps, Hull will be a player to watch out for in the very near future.
Another lengthy, speedy WR out of Missouri in the class of ’28, Walsh has been turning heads. Walsh is a track guy who has natural speed and agility, and it translates onto the football field. He attacks the ball when it is thrown his way. With his length and strong hands, he can make just about any catch on the field, whether it’s a jump ball or a velocity throw across the middle.
Highlights
Burns is a quick, very athletic wide receiver in the class of 2028. He is not afraid to go up and make any catch, high-pointing ball after ball. Burns is great with the ball in his hands as well, making people miss and showing off his speed. He is around 5-foot-10 but plays much bigger than that, I would be comfortable giving this guy a chance to go up and make a play. Burns is a guy who is gaining attention as the season nears.
Highlights
A speedy wide receiver with a quick twitch, Hale is a 2028 that has the ability to move all over the field. He can work out of the slot, the backfield, or outside. He understands the game at a high level and lets his athleticism do the rest. A multi-sport athlete, Hale has still been making it to camps and impressing. With good size, strong hands, and a good motor, Hale has a great chance of success at the next level.
Kyle Watkins
Kyle Watkins
Kyle Watkins is a name to know, he is one of the most impressive talents in the class of 2028. A perfect blend of balance and quickness, Watkins has straight-line speed as well as tight space speed. He accelerates very well and gets in and out of breaks effectively. A kid with a burst and very impressive body control for his age. Watkins has been working hard this offseason and has shown out at a few events. He is one of my favorite prospects in the class of 2028.
