2025 MD/DC/DE Player Rankings – DC Prospects To Know – Part 1

The rankings included over 330+ athletes and DC is well represented. Looks the part with a nice build, thick lower half and long arms.  Jaqori comes in at #79 overall in the rankings and the #17 rated DL prospect. He is an interior DL who shows active hands, a strong motor and displayed a good array of rush moves.  He flashed strong swim and rip technique as well as strength and drive battling through double teams. Has good bend for his size, can re-driect with solid COD and ability to flatten down the line. Jaqori is a hard working kid, will contineu to get stronger and work on his body, while also being strong in the class room with a 3.6 GPA. He comes in at #90 overall, and the #8 ATH in our rankings, and can see him rising easily after this summer. He looks every bit the part, standing tall at 6'3u0022 185lbs and a frame to carry 220lbs+ easily. He will be a yoked up guy once he gets into a college weight training program. A do it all player for McKinley Tech, Lorenz played RB/WR/DB/LB and was a playmaker at every one of those positions. I see him growing into being an athletic OLB with a stellar skill set for that spot at the next level. He has a wonderful smooth long gliding stride that eats up grass. Real fluid hips, can play in coverage as well as quickly break and flip his hips to come up and make a tackle. Ball hawk on both sides of the ball, will go and get it. Physical player, will hit through the ball carrier and not afraid of contact. He comes in at #109 overall and the #13 WR, and honestly has room to rise or drop based on if he can stay consistent. I saw him last when he was at High Point HS and he had a great soph year and now will be at Bell for his Senior year after a stint at Rock Creek this past fall. I could see him having a huge senior year at Bell with some of the other talent they have over there going into next fall. Kenedy has ideal size at 6'5u0022 with a long lean frame that can add good muscle easily. He is a real good leaper and with his size that is a dangerous combo. Will go up and high point and can out reach most if not all DBs. Shows being a natural pass catcher as well with soft hands, doesn't fight the ball and catches it away from his body.  Kenedy also displays a smooth long stride that he can use to create separation. I am sure schools will want to get a time on him but he has a lot of promise, could even see him developing into a Flex TE option. Just cracking the top 100 at #97 and the number 21 overall DL.  Deonte has a strong get off and nice burst of the snap. He is one to always be in the backfield. He can play as an interior rush DT or out as a strong side DE. Is explosive enough to be effective in both roles beating blockers around the edge and through the interior gap. Shows nice choppy feet, playing light on his toes ready to and with a high motor. He gets after the ball, with smooth hips not getting out of position and re-directing to attack the ball or set the edge. I like how sure of a tackler Deonte is as well, he gets to you and he will bring you down. He comes in at #270 overall and the #27 WR but don't let that fool you as Lacy has a real nice skill set and traits colleges are going to be interested in. He shows great ball skills, tracks it well in the air and will go and get it with strong hands. A glider when he runs with some slippery hips and good burst. What I really like about Lacy is he catches the ball! Plucks the ball out the air, catches it away from his body and is a natural pass catcher. Can go across the middle, take the hit and still come up with the catch, has good focus on the ball. Had a solid Jr season but as he develops as a QB in his technique and gets stronger overall he can really show this fall. Has ideal height at 6'3u0022 and a good lean frame, Ronnell is a solid overall athlete at the position, being able to run for yards and extend the play. He throws with nice touch and placement. Can get it over the defenders head and drop it in for a very catchable ball for his receiver.  Flashes good zip and velocity on his passes, and only see that improving as he gets stronger and fills out his frame. Overall he is a poised QB that throws with good accuracy and placement, leading to a lot of successful plays and limited turnovers.
