Some of these players have a few offers and with the help of big senior seasons I can see all of them playing college football at some level.
Joey Gioia, RB/LB- Oviedo High c/o 25
5’10 205lbs
Gioia had a solid junior season for Oviedo, he played a big part on a stout defense for a team that went 8-3 and into the State Playoffs. Gioia finished the year with 68 tackles, 7 TFL, 1sack and a team leading 4 INT. Gioia was selected 2nd team All-Conference.
Strengths:
- Shows really good acceleration and closing speed
- 3-down backer that can play out in space
- Excellent timing on blitzes
- Consistently splits blocks and gets into the backfield
Keenan Nephew, ATH- Pine Ridge High c/o 27
5’8 150lbs
Nephew is a player that flashes a lot of ability as an athlete. Nephew is a two-way player that excels on both sides of the ball; on offenses he registered 19 receptions for 127 yards and a touchdown. On defense finished with 30 tackles, 3 TFL, and 1 fumble recovery. I’m anxious to watch his development this Spring, and I think he will a big time player in the upcoming season. He picked up his first offer February 11th from Roseville Athletic Academy.
Strengths:
- Excels on both sides of the ball
- Versatility
- Can flip his hips and redirect at defensive back
Ronald Riley Ronald Riley 6'4" | 315 lbs | OL True North Classical Academy | 2027 FL , OL- True North Classical Academy c/o 27
6’4 315lbs
Big talented lineman that will turn some heads this season. He was part of an outstanding line that dominated opponents rushing for 1501 yards and 22 rushing touchdowns and 3015 passing yards! He helped guide the Titans to a 9-3 record amd into the Regional Finals of the State playoffs. He was selected All-Dade County Honorable Mention. His stock is on the rise and currently has two offers from Bethune-Cookman and FIU.
Strengths:
- Outstanding length for a guard
- Able to hold and anchor
- Raw power
Zy Tassin, WR/ATH- Crestview High c/o 27
6’2 190lbs
Tassin is a player coaches need to keep an eye on in 2024. Tassin is a true athlete that dies everything on the field. He passed for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns, rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown, and registered 15 catches for 239 yards! Tassin is a player on the rise and is a player coaches need to check out this spring.
Strengths:
- Could play on either side of the ball at the next level
- Shows good speed and range as a middle of the field safety
- Athleticism and raw talent
