James Dunneman
James Dunneman
With a lethal quick jump off of the line, James Dunneman is in the backfield before the offense can react. Accumulating 25 tackles and a sack in his junior campaign, James is growing into a stout presence coming off of the edge. Collapsing the pocket with speed and intensity, James’ rare combination of speed and strength allows him to not only over power his opponents but move in a manner that is hard for blockers to keep up with. James is notorious for breaking up passes before they can cross the line. His large bear claw of hands allows him to get in the throwing lane and swat the ball down, preventing the opponent from having any success downfield. James is a name I think we will all become more familiar with in 2024.
Ben Mitrow
Ben Mitrow
Seton Hall Prep is ready to deliver one of the better 1-2 punches at the running back position in 2024. Complimenting Bryce Robbins, Ben Mitrow is the more experienced of the two as he ran the ball into the end zone 4 times last fall. With fast reflexes and quick acceleration through the hole, Ben displays explosiveness as he drives his foot into the ground and forces missed tackles. I am very excited to see what this run game is capable of next season.
The top returning target on the roster, Caleb Pasols Caleb Pasols 5’7″ | 155 lbs | WR Seton Hall Prep | 2025 State NJ will be given plenty of opportunities to show his worth as a WR1 next fall. A shifty wideout, Caleb makes it difficult for defenders to keep track of him as his footwork can get defender’s hips turned the opposite direction very easily. Catching 3 touchdowns and nearly 300 yards in his junior season, Caleb displayed impressive stop and start capabilities. He consistently showed that he can stop on a dime, force a defender to whiff on a tackle, and proceed to cut up field with speed. Seton Hall Prep will look to feed him the ball in 2024.
Alleem Scott
Alleem Scott
One of the top corners in the division, Alleem Scott had an exceptional 2023 season and will look to continue that success into 2024. Compiling 63 tackles and forcing a fumble, Alleem flew all over the field as he made a huge impact in both the run and pass game. The type of cornerback you want lining up against the best the opponent has to offer, Alleem is capable of staying hip to hip with their top target and finding a way break up the ball before the receiver can reel it in. Playing a crucial role in the run defense as well, Alleem isn’t afraid to dart up field and go one-on-one with the runner in open space.
