Lil Wayne said, “Lights off, Masks on, Creep silent”, but, for Isaiah, I’m saying, Lights on, Casts off, Keep slidin! His speed allows him to get a step on defenders deep down the field, creating explosive opportunities for the offense. But the Louisiana native is more than just a straight-line threat. He possesses exceptional agility and route-running ability, making him a nightmare to cover in man-to-man situations. His quick cuts and sharp changes of direction leave defenders grasping at air, allowing him to create separation with ease. This combination of speed and agility makes Champagne a constant target for big plays, stretching the field vertically and horizontally. Opposing defenses will have to pick their poison – try to jam him at the line and risk getting burned deep, or give him a cushion and watch him dip through defenders for yards after the catch. Isaiah brings a skillset that injects excitement and unpredictability into every play. The cast is off and this Pieper Warrior is ready for The Coliseum.
Highlights
Tyler Campbell
Tyler Campbell
Listed at a solid 6’3 and 190lbs, Tyler presents a daunting matchup for any defensive back. But Campbell’s game is more than just brute size. He has exceptional strength that allows him to box out defenders and shield the ball on contested throws. His hands are strong, snatching passes out of the air with remarkable consistency. Tyler uses his size to his advantage, running power routes that create space underneath for short-yardage gains and touchdowns. He excels in jump-ball situations, using his height and strength to overpower defenders for high throws in the red zone. With Campbell as a target, the Ducks’ offense has a constant mismatch to exploit, adding another dimension to their game plan. Opposing defenses will have their hands full trying to contain this Clemens Buffalo in the upcoming season. Big senior year on deck!
Robert Morales
Robert Morales
The RGV has hands! Whether it’s a bullet in tight coverage or a leaping grab in the end zone, Morales snatches the ball with consistency. He possesses a strong work ethic and dedication to route-running, making him a dependable target on every play. His precise routes create separation for his quarterbacks, giving him a clear window to deliver the ball. This combination of reliable hands and consistent route-running makes Robert a main target for his QB’s. He’s not the flashiest receiver, but his quiet efficiency allows the offense to function smoothly and efficiently. Quarterbacks can breathe easy knowing Morales will be there to catch anything thrown his way, giving PSJA Memorial a reliable weapon they can count on in crucial moments. Keep an eye on this dude in the fall.
Andres Rojas
Andres Rojas
Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole!! Andres Rojas isn’t your typical deep threat; he’s a master of precision in the slot. His exceptional footwork allows him to run crisp routes with sharp cuts and lightning-fast changes of direction. Defenders struggle to keep up with Rojas’s intricate movements, creating space underneath for him to become a constant target for the Ducks. But Andres is more than just a quick-footed route runner. He possesses reliable hands and a knack for finding the open window in any coverage. His agility make him a nightmare for linebackers to cover, and his understanding of the game allows him to exploit defensive weaknesses on short slants and whip routes. Rojas excels in converting third downs and keeping the chains moving. Opposing defenses can’t afford to ignore Andres in the slot, as his ability to get open quickly and consistently makes him a valuable commodity. Elijah Favela and the Judson Rockets have a good target to look forward to.
Kenyon Skelton
Kenyon Skelton
Standing tall at 6’3″, Skelton has a significant height advantage over most cornerbacks. But his game goes beyond just size. Kenyon possesses exceptional leaping ability and a knack for finding the highest point on contested catches. His route-running is crisp and precise, allowing him to create separation and present himself as a reliable target for quarterbacks. With this young man patrolling the red zone, he becomes a constant threat for touchdowns. Opposing teams will have a tough time matching up with Skelton’s size and skill, making him a valuable weapon all over the field. This Taft junior is looking to have a big season this Fall.
