Duke Johnson Duke Johnson 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Dodge County | 2025 GA – Dodge County
An explosive linebacker who can fly into the backfield as soon as the ball is snapped, this small-town athlete brings an excellent 6-foot-3 205-pound frame and knows how to deliver a big hit on the ball-carrier. A versatile defender who can play in space at middle linebacker or on the edge, Johnson is a stout run defender and a quarterback’s worst nightmare on the blitz. A physical defender who also plays running back, it was easy to give Johnson a massive boost in the rankings after a terrific junior season and a strong performance in the Atlanta Under Armour Camp. Now, this big-time, playmaking linebacker is ranked as the No. 7 overall prospect in the state. He’s a dynamic player with an very high ceiling, so expect big things from him as a senior in 2024. He holds just about every offer in the book, with some schools likely to give him a look at running back. He’s one of the state’s top prospects, and his ranking boost was well deserved.
Logan Brooking Logan Brooking 6'4" | 220 lbs | LB Savannah Christian | 2025 State GA – Savannah Christian
One of the top two-way players across Georgia in the 2025 class, Brooking is a versatile prospect who made a giant impact as both a tight end on offense and an edge defender on defense. A future Clemson Tiger, Brooking is an active defender with easy Power Five size and length at 4-foot-4 215-pounds. A natural pass-rusher, this Savannah native made 60 tackles, 11.5 TFLs and six sacks. Offensively, Brooking was a reliable pass-catcher as he hauled in 38 passes for 544 yards and three touchdowns. He’s a decent route-runner for his size who can create a mismatch in the middle of the field, and shows big, strong hands that allow him to make a tough catch in traffic. He shows a nose for the football and big-play ability no matter where he’s lined up. Now, Brooking is ranked as the No. 37 overall prospect in the state.
Herbert Scroggins III – Benedictine
A long, athletic 6-foot-3 220-pound defender on the rise out of Savannah, Scroggins is a sure-tackling defender with really good size and several impressive Power Five offers. This smart, max-effort defender was a big reason why the Cadets marched to a second-consecutive state championship last season. He ended the season with 84 tackles, 10 TFLs, and a team-leading 12 sacks. He’s explosive off the snap and uses his length to shed blocks from opposing tackles when he rushes the quarterback off the edge. He creates havoc and always finds his way to the football. He shows a great motor, understands his role, and brings a leadership aspect as well. He earned a higher ranking, and now the Savannah native is ranked as the No. 73 overall prospect in Georgia. This playmaking defender holds impressive offers from Auburn, North Carolina, Southern Cal, Texas A&M, among others. His best football is still way ahead of him, and he has a chance to be one of the more productive linebackers across Savannah next fall as a senior.
