He caught 16 passes for 210 yards with a pair of touchdowns for Newbury Park this season. As a defender, he had 26 tackles with three sacks and a forced fumble.
Bryce stood out as a top tight end in the Under Armour Next All-American Camp last March in a loaded tight end group.
He chose BYU over 14 other schools that offered him including Minnesota and San Jose State among others.
Bryce is first player from California in BYU’s 2025 recruiting class and the third player overall.
Oaks Christian class of 2026 running back Deshonne Redeaux Deshonne Redeaux 5’11” | 175 lbs | RB Oaks Christian | 2026 State CA was offered by Notre Dame on Monday.
He ran for 439 yards on 49 carries with five touchdowns in just six games last season.
Redeaux has a good combination of straight away speed and short area quickness.
He also was offered by UCLA this month and has 25 offers.
Highlights
Villa Park class of 2025 offensive lineman Ethan Sickles Ethan Sickles 6’4″ | 315 lbs | OL Villa Park | 2025 CA picked up his first offer from Webber International University on Saturday.
Sickles was a standout at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase last year and has been active on the camp circuit.
He earned First Team All-Crestview League honors this season.
Santa Margarita class of 2026 receiver Jonah Smith Jonah Smith 6’1″ | 180 lbs | WR Santa Margarita | 2026 State CA announced his early commitment to UCLA last Wednesday.
Smith caught 27 passes for 363 yards with eight touchdowns for Mater Dei last season and has since transferred to Santa Margarita.
He was the MVP of the Rivals Camp in LA last week.
Smith chose UCLA over 19 other schools that offered him including Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame and Oregon among others. He is the first player to commit to UCLA in the 2026 class.

Millikan class of 2024 linebacker Riley Tuggle Riley Tuggle 6’1″ | 190 lbs | LB Millikan | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Benedictine College last week.
Tuggle had 74 tackles with four sacks for Millikan last season.
Benedictine has been active in recruiting Southern California athletes for the past few seasons.
