Following my breakdown of some intriguing 8th grade prospects in the Bluegrass State that should be on your radar, here’s my list of some rising offensive 2028s in Kentucky to watch for.
Establishing himself under center last year was Will Adams Will Adams 6’0″ | 165 lbs | QB Northern Pulaski | 2028 KY , a quarterback at Northern Pulaski Middle School. What I like about Adams is his ability to outplay the defense on the ground and in the air. Adams showcased great arm strength and accuracy, proving he could hit his receivers in stride anywhere on the field. Adams also contributed deceptive footwork and electric speed on the ground.

I am additionally impressed with Maddox Bryant Maddox Bryant 5’10” | 165 lbs | RB Hazard | 2028 KY , a running back at Hazard Middle School. Bryant impresses me with his strong footwork, quick execution and his ability to pick up speed off the snap to barrel past the defense. Bryant’s ability to handle pressure in the pocket also stands out, proving he can stay on his feet and use his arms to break tackles on his way into the endzone for the touchdown.

Making a considerable difference down the stretch was David Jones Jr David Jones Jr 6’0″ | 150 lbs | WR EJ Hayes | 2028 KY ., a wide receiver at EJ Hayes Middle School. Jones stands out due to his explosiveness in coverage and outstanding catching ability in the backfield. I also like how Jones can lock in and march into the endzone from short range, utilizing his core strength to muscle past the defense and take it all the way to the house.

Another top tier 8th grade prospect to keep an eye on is Noah Beasley Noah Beasley 6’4″ | 170 lbs | TE Anderson County | 2028 KY , a tight end at Anderson County Middle School. Beasley impresses me from along the edge, proving he can blast into the backfield, create seperation and get in prime position for the deep pass. I also like Beasley’s strong footwork and versatile edge, showing off his ability to maneuver the field and push into enemy territory with ease.
Also making his presence known was Connor Blevins Connor Blevins 6’2″ | 290 lbs | OL Northern Pulaski | 2028 KY , an offensive lineman at Northern Pulaski Middle School. Blevins impresses me at the line of scrimmage due to his solid size, speed, quick execution and his ability to adapt to the defensive line’s strength. I also like how Blevins can consistently absorb defensive pressure and overwhelm his opponent in the pocket using his arms.
